I miss the days when the parks would stay open until 1 am. One time it even stayed open till 2 am. My family and I were allowed to just stay on the same rides and ride again if we wanted too. Tickets were cheaper back then as well. You got automatic park hoppers with no expiration date on your passes and the tickets included the Waterparks. We could do 4 parks in 1 day. Crowds were not as crazy busy and even if it was busy it didn’t seem as busy as it does now. My grandparents bought the entire family multiple 10 day park hopping passes to all the parks with no expiration date through their work at a discounted rate. Those passes lasted a long time. I was sad when we finally used the last ones. I wish I had bought way more on my own. They were the paper tickets. Disney just isn’t the same anymore. We just went last month and we had fun but it doesn’t have the same feel as it used too.

I remember the paper ticket days… those were the best. I still have a few no experation park hopper tickets, but don’t to use them for sentimental value. My grandma left behind a multi day ticket with 1 day left on it from the early 8os. We had several family members who worked for the Mouse. At one point Disney would still have to honor these, but then take the ticket. I can’t see doing that.

I remember when milk cost a nickel and we took the family in the ol’ reliable Model T to Coney Island, the whole day cost a dollar, a dollar! And don’t get me started on the whole women wearing pants thing, what has this world become.
