Burglary at Disney’s Old Key West Resort
At 11:01 p.m. on Monday, Central Florida law enforcement received a call about a burglary at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps screenshot attached to the post pinpoints the burglary at a specific building within Disney’s Old Key West Resort. However, it’s unclear whether that is a general address used to log the scanner report or the actual location where the hotel burglary incident occurred. Emergency responses at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and Disney Springs are almost always logged at general addresses rather than exact coordinates, but that practice varies for incidents at Disney Resort hotels.
It’s unclear whether the burglary occurred in a guest room or another area of Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has issued a statement about the incident. More information may eventually emerge in a police report or if criminal charges are filed.

As of now, there are no reported disruptions or closures at Disney’s Old Key West Resort following the overnight burglary. Walt Disney World Resort guests are urged to move forward with their vacation itineraries as planned.
