Um yes they need to stop! They’re losing fans and do not care! Well I care to keep my wallet closed from now on! No Tangled remake for me!

  2. Markus Webb

I already know that if CGI action Tangled does well we’ll keep getting remakes until we eventually get cheesy 2D remakes of the remakes. While I haven’t minded a couple of them this endless, back to back supply of them is downright sickening and yes it’s running a lot of people away

The Lilo and Stitch remake made over a billion dollars just because Stitch is one of Disney’s most iconic and memorable characters. However, when I see people talking about it now they’re complaining about how truly bad it was. I was smart enough to not watch it in the first place

    1. X-Men

That was really bad and now unfortunately we’re getting a sequel I wonder if Miss Marine Life Expert is back from California college by then?

I think you mean comments from ex-fans!

  5. Green Bay

Casting problems is only half of it; race swapping, gender swapping or casting some political loudmouth. It’s changing up stuff and original meanings just to please a few. Or themselves. It’s certainly not about pleasing moral values anymore. Lilo and Stitch was all about families staying together no matter what. Now Disney teaches families must break up for selfish reasons and using a portal 🔫 as an unrealistic excuse to visit your abandoned sister from clear across the ocean!

    1. X-Men

Ikr, any comments I see about that garbage are really down on how Disney trashed the whole Ohana thing

  6. Allen

I thought they officially announced it or was that Frozen 4 or Frozen 5 by now? Oh well I didn’t watch the last three Frozen movies anyway

  7. X-Men

Give the remakes a break, Disney. We want original content again. However, I’m at the point of where I’m too scared that if an original movie becomes a success it gets a remake in a couple of years

    1. Big Deal

I can’t even remember what Disney’s last original movie was. I don’t mean a sequel. I mean a stand alone film. Seriously, all I ever hear anymore from Disney anymore is a sequel or a live action remake. So sad.

      1. Eric Bates

Wasn’t that Wish which was really la me?

  8. Lilla

Lol, negative comments against Disney are more funny, entertaining and have more soul to them than the remakes ever had!

“You can’t put a cowboy hat on Tom Hanks and expect him to play Woody” that’s funny! Mainly because it’s true! You don’t put a wig on Rock either and expect him to play Maui! You very easily connect a voice actor to their character but if it doesn’t work out them playing them in front of the camera then freaking don’t remake it at all! Just don’t!!

    1. Viv

Be quiet or they’ll remake Toy Story next

      1. Bert

No need for you to see TS5. It’s already the biggest movie of the year at the box office.

        1. Collins

They didn’t say anything about TS5 also just because it a billion dollar hit does not make it a good movie there’s been a lot of billion dollar hits that don’t have the high ground anymore

        2. Impeccable

Can’t you read, they’re talking about the first Toy Story

  9. Barbara

Yeah go ahead Disney I dare you to cast Allcock as Elsa we’ll see how that works out and who she’ll bash if “Christian Dads” don’t bring their daughters to see it but I hope she washes her hair, joins alc0h0lics anonymous and fixes her teeth in the meantime

‘Comments for Frozen remake sparks strong reactions!’

    Ya think?

  11. PortaPowerPal

Disney: You will e a t our live action slop and like it! .

    The audience: no 🙂‍↔️

  12. Sammich

Purists, i think you mean normal people who do not appreciate modern takes on classic stories like Snow White and Rapunzel. The original Tangled didn’t need to happen. But it’s not just Disney, Netflix, Gunn and Nolan enjoy trashing stuff to. Also Angel Studios for trashing Animal Farm.

    1. Bert

No one is forcing you to see any of these movies. But you just need to bloviate. Blah blah blah …

      1. Collins

But it’s ok when you blah blah blah yourself? You didn’t have to comment either but I guess you gotta blow your hot air out somewhere 🤣

      2. Harrison

You do realize the audience has a right to tell Disney what we’re sick of, right? We’re the ones who pay them or not pay them for their content.

      3. Nathaniel

Cry me a river. No nobody’s forcing us to watch anything that’s why Temu Moana failed, Mandalorian and Grogu failed, Supergirl failed, Latino Snow White remake failed, other Star Wars content failed, Marvel junk like Fantastic Four failed, Captain Black America underperformed, Little Black Mermaid underperformed.. shall I go on?

        1. Impeccable

Man I laughed when I saw the numbers on Snow Brown Superdrunk and Moana lol. None of them made back the money it cost just to make the movie! A few unfortunate hits like the Odyssey mean nothing compared to the hundreds of other losses. (Besides if it weren’t for the Nolan name and the double and triple prices of IMAX tickets that wouldn’t have done good at all!) Nobody watches the Oscars anymore either. I even heard Gunn had to run away from an upset live audience lol

        2. Impeccable

James Gunns Superman wasn’t exactly a billion dollar sensation either

          1. KidKind

Neither was Man of Steel. Superhero movies are getting overproduced just like all these remakes

        3. Dennis

You left out Masters of the Universe

          1. Nathaniel

Oh yeah thanks that was a big flop as well

      4. KidKind

Blah blah blah is pretty coherent language coming from a Disney shill 🤣

  13. Mary

Just cancel the Tangled remake already

  14. County 51

Disney’s completely out of ideas that’s the whole picture of it all. Walt knew how to keep everyone happy. Iger and Josh only know how to disappoint

  15. KidKind

I agree with all the comments here and in this art icle. No more remakes for me. I saw a couple of them but that’s it. Learned my lesson and quit watching anymore. The Moana one might be good to watch just to laugh at but if I do see it it’ll be after I find it in a five dollar bargain bin in Walmart

  16. David D

Moana 2026 projected cost: 250 million
Moana 2026 box office 229 million
Moral of this story is: stop remaking everything! Especially when it’s barely ten years old!

Frozen 5: A Dried up Puddle

So what Disney may not have officially announced yet but we all know we’re going to get it because remakes are the only thing they know how to do anymore. I was seriously hoping we wouldn’t get the Tangled remake but oh no Disney can’t come up with anything else to do so they dust that idea off and go ahead and do it anyway. So yes, we will end up with a Frozen ‘live’ action as much as we don’t deserve it. Wallet closed until Disney listens to us.

  19. Paula

    Rachel Zegler as Elsa
    Zendaya as Anna
    Ellen Page as Kristoff
Josh Gad in a snowman body suit as Olaf
    CGI female Elk as Sven
    Mark Ruffalo as Prince Hans

There. I fixed it for you.

  20. Eric Bates

My remake fatigue has been growing worse over the past few years but got really worse after Moana remake and hearing about Tangled remake, Frozen remake, Hercules remake, Mickey Mouse live action…oh well. I guess let me know when they remake Cars and Planes using CGI live action. That might be rather eye-catching

  21. SoloVan

The original frozen is only thirteen years old. Doesn’t need a remake this soon and doesn’t need one at all. Stop milking franchises just because you can’t come up with anything new, Disney!
