I didn’t even watch the sequels. I don’t recall being aware that they existed until later on. But I read enough about them to know how bad they were. You don’t kill off the three icons of Star Wars and you don’t bring back a deceased villain only to have him have a girlboss granddaughter as the last Jedi
None of Disney’s junk has ever held a candle to the original movies. Its too feminist and woke now and way too many spin-offs. I’m hoping Starfighters will be good since it’s male-lead and the boy character has the Force but im not holding my breath. Disney has done nothing but disappoint us for years
Disney Star Wars is dead. Even children don’t care anymore, we found that out when M&G hit theaters. Why can’t Disney listen to their audience? You know it’s bad when children don’t want their content anymore!
Children didn’t even want to see the Moana remake and called it garbage. On YouTube yesterday I read that when family asked their kids if they wanted to go to the theater instead they preferred a pool party, lol.
I mean think about it. The original Moana is only ten years old and the sequel was released only two years ago and now we get a colorless mockery of the original before the third sequel comes out
They don’t know how to, I’m afraid. That’s why 75 percent or more of their releases are live action remakes or sequels or spin offs of something that already exists and even they suck because they can’t the right kind of writers. Disney had the chance to make the Mandalorian and Grogu really good and they blew it. They had chances to make their remakes good. They blew it. Disney is losing more viewership everyday because they do not care about their audiences. Once upon a time it was, “the customer is always right”. Now it’s, “the customer is an idi0t for not wanting our products”
They’re not. They’re essentially just remakes of episode 4-6 for the “modern audience” that no one asked for. Anyone who cared about Star Wars before that does not consider the sequels canon.
To make it worse, Disney didn’t just make a couple bad movies, they killed Star Wars as a brand. No one cares about it anymore. Their mismanagement retroactively destroyed interest in what came before Disney Star Wars.
They took one of the most valuable franchises in history and ruined it in a few years.
