I think Pixie Dusting is gonna eventually end because thefts will increase as the untame crowds increase. This is an example we’ll remember: when Pixie Dusting was a thing. These kind gestures I wish would happen outside of the parks vs in them. The gestures of being kind in traffic, stores, restaurants, etc. To me its hypocrisy. Ill leave it at that.
If Disney World would go back to delivering the merchandise to the resort you are staying at, it would alleviate a lot of this stealing. It was great to buy merchandise and not have to lug it around and take the chance of it being taken by someone!! It was great to pick it up at the end of the day or the next morning knowing it was safe!!
It’s quite simple. If you want to Kee something put it inside. As far as “pixie dust” items. I would not touch any of these things these days. There’s no telling what the people who left them did to them or someone stumbling across them did to them. May safety is worth buying a bottle of water or snacks. Even items that are for consumption you don’t know if someone some deranged psychopath sprinkled fentanyl pixie dust on it.

Disney has lost plenty of money by not having resort delivery… I have been there 4 times in the last 4 years and when you talk to people they all say .. ” I would love to buy this for a grandchild but I’m not carrying it around all day..
There has been a few items that I wanted > art work but wouldn’t buy them because I wasn’t carrying it around all day

Disney just needs to outprice the untamed crowd. I would be willing to pay more to keep trouble out of the park.

GenX’ers lived each Halloween wondering if their apples had razor blades in them, or if the popcorn balls were poisoned.
Besides, remember that Disney itself tells us that the Evil Queen tried to poison Snow White with a poisoned apple.
