Just because the Oddity opened big doesn’t mean it’ll be a blockbuster hit. We’ll see what the second weekend brings. So many people who were dumb enough to watch it the first time said it was very boring and some said they fell asleep

What can I say except, no more remakes!!

Once Spiderman hits theaters, Nolan’s Anti-Greek parody will be forgotten as well

    1. Bert

ANOTHER Spiderman? Give it a rest.

      1. Riley

Spiderman has definitely gotten milked into oblivion but then again so has Batman and Superman

        1. Bert

          True story.

Any franchise owned by Disney is gonna be milked and given the Star Wars treatment because they can’t come up with anything new. It’s a good thing I’m not a marvel fan but every time I hear about the next superhero movie I’m like when are they going to release one about how that hero has gotten arthritis and has to retire to a tropical villa ha ha!

          1. Jupiter Two

Nah it’s not just Disney. Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Transformers, He-Man, TMNJ…it’s all getting the Star Wars treatment. Even Netflix can’t leave stuff alone. They’re working on destroying the Chronicles of Narnia next from what I hear. That’s why I don’t watch reboots and just stick to the originals. Each superhero these days has what, twenty movies a piece by now? We getting superhero fatigue!

Batman 25: Dark Knight on Medicare

The movie generated so much so far due to the expense of IMAX tickets. Next weekend it’ll drop for sure from word of mouth how bad it is. It is a complete waste of three hours to watch Greek mythology and ancestry get mocked by politics. There’s a great deal of Greek people who are offended by this racist outrage. I feel for them. I know how they feel when they aren’t truly getting represented

    1. Night Fury

Tyrone, a black YouTuber, was really putting this movie down. I’m sure he wished he could take back those three hours because not only was he upset about how boring it is but by the lack of true Greek representation. At least he was able to laugh at the brief Ellen Page appearance but no left-wingers do not care whom they offend with their gaslighting, not even people of color or other races. It’s all about their message. I sincerely hope this movie does not become a success. The country of Greece doesn’t deserve this mockery. So much language, culture and history comes from Greece and influenced the entire world!

I saaw the clip of her running in her little soldier outfit idk who’s funnier to watch running her or woody from toy stories lol

        1. Sonny

She’s laughable anyway. She thinks she’s such a man. Chuck Norris could drop kick that little woman clear across a football field. Another thing that’s laughable is that apparently she’s said she doesn’t like men or masculinity so why is she pretending to be one and couldn’t accept being a beautiful woman?

          1. Marie

If Ellen Page is a man then I’m a starship captain.
It’s so sad what she did to herself. How can you not accept being born a woman of fair and lovely countenance? Many women could’ve been jealous of her beauty but now there’s nothing left to be jealous of. She threw all that beauty away. 💔

    2. Vernan

People are saying the DEI scenes (those including Lupita and Miss Paige) last only five minutes tops as Ellen is unalived quickly at the beginning of the movie, thank goodness. However the fact they are still using falsehoods such as Asian people, Viking ships and modern dialogue such as daddy still says DEI. Nolan should be ashamed he disrespected Greek culture and history but considering he’s just sitting out in his trillion dollar yacht I’m sure he doesn’t care about Greece

      1. San Marco Dwayne

As a white/American I’ll be doing my part to stand up for the country of Greece and their people by boycotting this. If anyone out there likes the Odyssey story you are much better off reading the book. Or watching Troy

        1. Nick

I’ll make up my own mind after I see it.

        2. Nano Wy

Same! Greece didn’t deserve having Nolan give them the middle finger with this movie!

      2. Todd

        Breaking box office records.

        1. Dan

Well we’ll see what the second weekend numbers have to say

        2. Riley

That’s because IMAX tickets are expensive. The movie will surely drop after this unfortunately big opening.

          1. Todd

Sounds like it might have some staying power. We’ll have to wait and see I guess.

      3. Nano Wy

How much did this atrocious movie cost to make, anyway? Including marketing costs? I heard it was going to need several hundred million, like somewhere between six hundred and seven hundred if not more just to break even. And something about Nolan taking a twenty percent c ut. I just hope that by second weekend it tanks hard. Greece doesn’t deserve the disgrace that Nolan has done to them. If he had done a ancestral take on an African tale he certainly would’ve strived harder to do that correctly. He certainly wouldn’t have chosen a beautiful Greek lady to play an African goddess. So why did he feel the need to get an African for a Greek goddess?

Good bye and good riddance to another watery remake! Temu Moana was so cringe! The music was fine though except the grandma in this version can’t sing as good as the other one and Shiny and You’re Welcome also sucked

  6. Kelly

Snow White remake: I lost Disney hundreds of millions of dollars!
    Moana remake: Hold my 🍺

  7. Nano Wy

Each ticket bought for Nolan’s Oddity is a vote for Greek misrepresentation and disrespect!

  8. Jackson

Buh bye Moana remake you will not be missed but we’ll still be laughing about Rock in that wig for years to come 🤣🤣

  9. Robert
