At 3:45 p.m. on June 21, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report about a “physical fight” at EPCOT, Walt Disney World Resort’s second theme park. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the 911 call log on X (formerly known as Twitter):

As with most scanner reports like this one, the pinned location near Spaceship Earth on the attached Google Maps screenshot reflects the generalized address where calls to EPCOT are tracked. It doesn’t necessarily reflect the location of the physical fight on Sunday afternoon.

It remains unclear how many Disney Park guests were involved in the fight and whether anyone was seriously injured or transported for treatment. Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor local law enforcement has issued a public statement about the incident; however, more details may become available if criminal charges are filed.

What Walt Disney World Guests Need to Know Now

At the time of the park’s closing on Sunday evening, operations at EPCOT continued normally, without any disruption, following the law enforcement response earlier in the afternoon. Walt Disney World Resort guests should not anticipate any further delays following the incident.

In general, guests who encounter law enforcement or security responses at the Disney parks, Disney Resort hotels, or Disney Springs are advised to avoid affected areas and to follow all instructions from authorities and Disney cast members on the scene. Walt Disney World Resort has policies in place to reduce the impact of emergency responses on other guests and to protect the privacy of those involved.
