Both of these issues sound like a parenting problem. There are signs saying not to be on the rock walls. There are signs saying to stay seated in rides. If you do not follow plainly stated warnings that is on you. We have taken grandchildren and our children there for 40 years. It has been in more recent years that it seems some people dont think the warning signs don’t apply to them.
Agree with the others. What the heck is up with the parents?! The signs all around say, ‘Don’t sit or stand on the rocks.’ It took a few minutes for the kid to climb the wall. Where this was; the wall is higher, than farther down the walkway. There is an electric barrier between the wall and the animals, so chances of an actual encounter is almost nill. Still, why weren’t the parents watching & controlling the kid? Then, the parents do the same thing!! They know it’s wrong – they are continuing to look around to see if someone sees them. They should have been banned from DW (if do it at resort, might do it at park) & criminal animal endangerment charges should be brought. That is the only way to stop all this entitled behavior. It seems to be getting worse and happening more often.
Parents just do not watch their kids like they used to. Plus like these other comments, the parents are not teaching their kids to behave in public anymore.
