Walt Disney World guests may soon have one more way to save valuable time during a busy day at Magic Kingdom.

A small but potentially significant update has appeared inside Disney’s digital platforms, suggesting that Astrofizz, the Tomorrowland snack kiosk that debuted last year, could be next in line to receive mobile ordering capabilities. While Disney has not officially announced a launch date, multiple signs point toward the feature arriving in the near future.

For many visitors, the addition might seem minor at first glance. After all, Astrofizz is not a major quick-service restaurant serving full meals. However, anyone who has spent a crowded afternoon at Magic Kingdom knows that even small snack locations can develop lengthy lines, especially during peak travel periods.

As Disney continues leaning more heavily into digital planning tools, the arrival of mobile ordering at Astrofizz would represent another step toward a park experience where guests spend less time waiting and more time enjoying attractions.

Signs Point to Mobile Ordering Arriving Soon

The first clues appeared on Disney’s official dining listings and within the My Disney Experience app.

Astrofizz is now identified as a location that offers Mobile Order, a designation typically reserved for dining venues that participate in Disney’s advance ordering system. Guests can even find a “Begin Order” option associated with the location. However, attempting to place an order currently results in a message indicating that no pickup windows are available.
That situation usually suggests Disney has completed much of the technical setup but has not yet activated the service for public use.

The company has remained silent about exactly when the feature will go live, leaving guests to speculate about whether the launch could happen within days, weeks, or later this summer.

Regardless of timing, the appearance of mobile ordering infrastructure is often one of the clearest indicators that Disney is preparing to expand digital ordering at a location.

Astrofizz Has Become a Key Part of Tomorrowland

Although it is still relatively new, Astrofizz has quickly become a recognizable part of Tomorrowland’s landscape.

The kiosk replaced the former Cool Ship location, giving Disney an updated futuristic snack stand that better fits the area’s evolving aesthetic. Since opening, it has become a convenient stop for guests looking to grab a quick refreshment while moving between attractions like Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Its location places it directly along one of the busiest pathways in the land, making it an easy choice for guests who want a snack without committing to a longer dining experience.

Unlike larger restaurants that require guests to leave the flow of foot traffic, Astrofizz serves as a quick stop where visitors can grab something and continue exploring the park.

That convenience makes it an ideal candidate for mobile ordering.

What Guests Can Order

While Astrofizz does not serve full meals, its menu offers a variety of popular theme park snacks and beverages.

Current offerings include frozen slushies, popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream novelties, bottled beverages, fountain drinks, and specialty items that rotate throughout the year. One of the current featured offerings is the Pride Slushy, a colorful frozen beverage available for a limited time.
The menu also includes several frozen drink flavors, including Coca-Cola, blue raspberry, orange, and wild cherry slushies. Guests can additionally find classics such as Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar and Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich.

While these may seem like simple purchases, snack lines can grow surprisingly long during hot Florida afternoons when thousands of guests seek relief from the heat at the same time.

Mobile ordering could significantly reduce those waits.

Why Mobile Order Matters

Disney has spent years expanding mobile ordering throughout Walt Disney World.

What began as a feature available at select quick-service restaurants has gradually become one of the most heavily used tools inside the My Disney Experience app.

Guests can browse menus, customize selections, pay in advance, and receive notifications when their orders are ready. The system eliminates much of the traditional ordering process and often allows visitors to move through pickup areas faster than those waiting in standard lines.

Adding Astrofizz to that network would bring another high-traffic snack location into Disney’s growing digital ecosystem.

For families juggling attraction reservations, parade viewing, entertainment schedules, and dining plans, every minute saved matters.

Instead of standing in line for a frozen drink on a hot afternoon, guests could potentially place an order while walking through Tomorrowland and pick it up when they arrive.

That type of convenience has become increasingly important as Disney continues encouraging guests to use the My Disney Experience app throughout their vacation.

Another Sign of Disney’s Digital Future

The potential addition of mobile ordering at Astrofizz also reflects a broader trend occurring across Walt Disney World.

Disney has steadily expanded app-based services over the past several years, integrating everything from dining reservations and Lightning Lane purchases to hotel information, merchandise checkout options, and transportation details.

Mobile ordering fits naturally within that strategy.

The company’s goal has largely been to streamline guest experiences while reducing congestion at high-demand locations. Even seemingly small additions can have a noticeable impact when multiplied across tens of thousands of daily visitors.

If Astrofizz officially joins the mobile order lineup, it would give Tomorrowland another modern convenience while helping distribute guests more efficiently throughout the land.

Waiting for an Official Launch

For now, Disney has not confirmed when mobile ordering will become available at Astrofizz. The feature remains visible in Disney’s systems, but guests cannot yet select pickup times or complete purchases through the app.
Still, the evidence strongly suggests that preparations are underway.

Whether the rollout happens this week, next month, or later this year, the eventual launch should be welcome news for Magic Kingdom visitors looking for a faster way to grab snacks and drinks in Tomorrowland.

As crowds continue to fill the park and summer temperatures remain intense, even a small improvement like mobile ordering can make a noticeable difference in how guests experience their day. And for a kiosk that has rapidly become a popular stop in Tomorrowland, that convenience may prove more valuable than many visitors realize.
