As far as im concerned james gun has made superman into a sissyman he’s weak he has to rest after being exposed to green stuff even his parent appear to be weak and dumb.first off he doesn’t look like superman his suit especially the S is horrible and a collar why and baggy come on james get you head out of your butt.no matter how powerful superman is he loses battle but win in the end the yellow sun makes his skin hard the smaller planet give him his strength and speed stop trying to reinvent him .you got lucky with guardian of the galaxy the first one the second was so so the 3rd one sucked.hand the reinvent over to someone that just does superman .your outfit sucks .I’ll be glad if they rum you out of the studio

For her information just because men are collectively against her does not make them Christian and I doubt all of them are fathers. Gunn had no expecations when he did Guardians. Most “fair weather” fans had No idea whi they were, why they exist and the history of the original Guardians,Gunn chose not to use.
His approach worked well, but DC isn’t Marvel and those fans have some cross over but there were also Major Exepcations for Gunn.OIf he had started with obscure groups like The Blackhawks,or Lobo or Chalengers of the Unknown but the “Gunn Approach” won’t work the DC 3(Superman,Batman, wonderWomen) way to much history.Can Gunn fix this? Yes but he has to remember What worked at Marvel doesn’t mean it will work at DC.
Truth be told, it doesn’t matter what Gunn does. People will complain about everything. Just look at The Mandalorian and Grogu. That movie was fantastic but because people complained about Disney it struggled. I’ve seen it twice. It’s great. I seen the new Superman movie. It was pretty good too but for some reason people hate DC too.
I’m looking forward to Supergirl, I’ll definitely be at the cinema to see it. I’m really looking forward to Lanterns and I also thought the Superman movie was great, as to it’s box office, you can point to a number of factors for it being so “low”
Cinema attendance is down compared to pre-covid, superhero fatigue, not really something I prescribe to, since Avengers: End Game the quality of these movies have dipped quite a bit. I think it’s more audiences not wanting to sit through more Morbin Time or love & thunder..
As an aside for any of you that want to label me a “gunntard” whatever that means. I also thought the Snyder movies were excellent, I own the 4k trilogy boxset and I’m disappointed that we aren’t getting a follow up to the justice league or even seeing Superman going head to head with Black Adam.

Gunn is crewing up the DCU b/c he’s not at that level. He’s a good director for a niche line of films but a poor choice to be a lead for the whole DCU. The ONLY reason Fieger met with any success up until phase 4 was b/c his butt was kept in check by others . Once he convinced Iger to fire those guys we saw what the unconstrained Kevin Fieger can can do starting is the epically failing phase 4 and after of the M-She-U!
