The ride at Disney World you sit side by side and there is a lap bar. The one in CA is a more traditional flume with everyone sitting in a row so it doesn’t.

When your source is Discord and Matt “Disney Scoop Guy” Desmond you take it with a grain of salt. How about fact checking with Disney first before posting

There are lap bars on the Disney World ride that have been in place since it was Splash Mountain. They have an employee who checks specifically for the lap bar. My husband and I forgot to put our lap bar down one time, and they actually paused the ride until we put it down.

Regardless of lap bars, this was a 13 yr old kid, who should know better than to try to exit a ride while moving. Was this a TikTok attempt? Was the mother on the ride also? If so, why didn’t she stop him? 70 yrs & no issues, until the last few – this generation.

I agree! AS a former Cast Member, I saw many “children” who were unsupervised endanger themselves and others…this was a choice on his part…ban him.

He should be banned from the parks. Should have known better at that age.

Exactly !! And his parent. My parents would have just looked at me and I would have known DoNot get out of that log ! No accountability anymore.

  6. Oh really

A 13 Year-old is old enough to know better and if there was some kind of disability involved, then he should’ve been more carefully supervised. Nonsense like this ruins it for everybody.

Got what he deserved for NOT following basic, simple instructions. If he lacks the intelligence to follow the rules ban him from all rides.

Seriously, a 13 year old should know better. However, that is what happens when parents try to be their child’s friend and or buddy. My students, high school, used to complain about that. They do not want their parents to be their friend, they want someone to set boundaries for them. In other words they want parents to be parents.
