In addition the ROA Tom Sawyer Island and frontier area were nods to Walt Disneys and Roy Disneys home state of MO. I have to say, I get tired of the ‘woke’ Disney comments. They are one of the biggest Capitalists on the scene. Their refurbishment and updates are so they can tie in merchandising, make sales and keep people coming back. The ‘politics’ of it all is marketing to a segment of the population with disposable income that can be spent on or at Disney or their affiliates. I can roll with the changes, but I do miss the slower paced attractions that allow an escape from the never ending crowds.
