Disney’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days event is packed with exclusive perks, from a dedicated Passholder Lounge inside Restaurant Marrakesh to limited-time discounts, specialty merchandise, a new Toy Story magnet, and even an exclusive popcorn bucket. But one offering is drawing particular attention from guests looking for a unique character experience.

As part of the event, Disney has transformed the Magic Eye Theater in World Celebration into a Passholder-exclusive meet-and-greet location running daily from May 1 through July 31. The experience initially featured Chip ’n’ Dale dressed in their Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary costumes, giving fans another opportunity to see the beloved chipmunks sporting the iridescent outfits that became synonymous with Disney World’s 18-month anniversary celebration.

The return of the anniversary costumes has already proven popular among longtime Disney fans, many of whom never expected to see the specialty outfits return after the conclusion of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” Located next to Journey Into Imagination with Figment, the meet-and-greet has quickly become one of the standout perks included with this year’s V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days lineup.

However, Disney appears to have added a surprise twist that many guests may not realize until they arrive.

While Chip ’n’ Dale continue to greet Passholders throughout the week, Disney has also introduced Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in their own 50th Anniversary attire. Donald sports his familiar earidescent jacket and vest, while Daisy appears in a matching celebratory dress accented with gold accessories, creating a rare opportunity to meet the iconic pair in costumes that have largely been absent since Disney World’s 50th anniversary festivities concluded.

There’s just one catch.

According to reports from WDWNT, Donald and Daisy are only appearing on Sundays as part of the rotating character lineup. Guests visiting any other day of the week will instead find Chip ’n’ Dale meeting Passholders in the location. The limited schedule effectively turns Sundays into the only day Passholders can meet the duck duo in their anniversary outfits, making the experience one of the more exclusive offerings available during the summer event.

The meet-and-greet remains available from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day through July 31, though Passholders hoping to see Donald and Daisy specifically may want to plan their EPCOT visit carefully. With Disney continuing to rotate characters and surprise guests throughout V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days, the Sunday-only appearance gives the event an added layer of exclusivity that many fans may not discover until after arriving at the park.

For Passholders eager to relive a piece of Walt Disney World’s recent history, Sundays at EPCOT may now be the most valuable day of the week.
