Good. This ride is woefully outdated, and obnoxious that it is still gas powered. How is it that you have an electric monorail rolling overhead and soot spewing out of 100 small lawnmowers bumbling along below. Wish the cutoff was July 1 2026. Good riddance.
The fumes from Autopia are nasty! We don’t even like to be near that ride. Disney can afford to replace them with cleaner electric motors and should have done so years ago.
For some this seems to be a simple changeover. For others like me, the logistics stick out like a sore thumb. The park is open up to 16 hours a day. How long will each car last before it needs to be charged? Where will they need to get the car there for that charging? How will get them there and back into service? How will you deal with four separate tracks? If you have been waiting in line to board when a current version car breaks down and needs to be removed from service, you will understand the complexity needed to deal with planned down time for charging operations. It can be done, but a lot of rules and regulations will need to be adhered to if the ride is going to remain safe.
So Jess – you say the government – Well its the state of Commiefornia that requires this. Nice try though to imply that it was the evil orange man. As usual liberals ruin everything.

Will california have the power needed to charge all this electric stuff? Especially if Hoover Dam stops producing like it should?

You can tell who drinks the Blue Kool Aid by the above comments. 😂

What’s good for the environment is good for me. I’ll bet they upgrade the cars’ style, too! I’m fine with it. I trust Disney.
Walt
wow misplaced trust for sure
