Main Street, U.S.A., Construction Update
In April 2026, the Plaza Gardens Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park (Paris) closed for a lengthy refurbishment. The Table Service dining location is expected to reopen in early 2027 with a refreshed interior and exterior color palette that elevates the Disney Park guest experience while retaining the Victorian charm of the original restaurant. The project also includes modernizing the kitchen and dining areas and replacing the flooring, facades, and roofing.
Construction walls have lined the Plaza Gardens Restaurant since it closed in April. However, Disneyland Paris Resort recently added some new theming elements to the Victorian-inspired plywood walls: posters advertising businesses (both fake and real) on Main Street, U.S.A.
On June 3, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared photos of the new posters on the plywood walls, advertising Casey’s Corner, Harrington’s Fine China and Porcelains, Disney Clothiers, and Flora’s Unique Boutique:

Behind the plywood walls, Plaza Gardens Restaurant is almost completely concealed by scaffolding covered in white scrim. The rooftop balcony is the only part of the building visible to European Disney Park guests.
Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t announced an exact reopening date for Plaza Gardens Restaurant beyond “early 2027.” The new posters on the construction walls help keep the theming of Main Street, U.S.A., during the months-long refurbishment.
