    Cash grab as usual

      Yeppers!!!!!!!

How is it a cash grab to ensure that the free transportation that is a benefit of resort guest isn’t being used by those who are not and just looking for a free ride like two of you? Get off the corner, get off your knees and get a real job….and who uses Yeppers? Loser

  2. Disney could charge a small bus fee but don’t take away the only way to shop at the resorts.

I don’t think you understand. People have been parking at Disney Springs for free and getting directly on the busses (without actually shopping) as a means to get to the Parks and bypass appropriate “paid” parking.

The shops were meant for guests. Book a weekend stay cation or better yet? Go to a local Walmart in that area. They sell much of what Disney sells 👍.

I cannot believe they were letting just anyone ride the buses anyway. This sounds like a good move. Means that the buses are more freed up for the actual resort guests who should be using them.

You know, I have actually done that. Went to Disney Springs and took my family to the resorts while I didn’t stay or or have a pass to get into the parks but you know what? We ate and drank. We spent money at the resorts we visited. Also showed the kids how nice Disney was and let them why they would want to go there. What this is doing is actually decreasing the bottom line. Seeing the resorts on the internet doesn’t replace being there to see what could be their next vacation. If Walt Disnet World is all about making money, then they are missing the boat. I really don’t think they are thinking that through and it’s sad. Do you think Las Vegas is telling people to not visit their resorts because they aren’t staying there?? I don’t think so.

Don’t compare Disney to Vegas. Do you realize that what you were doing is the reason Disney has said ENOUGH!? Those buses are for guests paying thousands for their experience. Youre just contributing a dinner and some Disney merch. That times however many are doing it equates to just one guest paying $10k for their once in a lifetime trip. Youre just a spoiled local. The privileges are over. Find another free excursion in Orlando. The Mall maybe?

Disney should make available all merchandise and pins sold at the resorts at all parks and Disney Springs. Many guests visit the resorts to shop, eat, or to admire the ambiance to see if they would like to make a reservation at the resort for a stay

      Its called the Disney Srore.

This was the norm in the 70s and 80s. You either needed to be staying at a resort, have a park ticket or have a transportation ticket that they sold. I think it was around $2.

Im all for it. It makes sense. The buses at DS were created to transport resort guests to and from their resorts. Its their experience not locals who want a theme park experience by just resort hopping. For those thinking this is a cash grab by Disney means youve been the ones evading the parking fees at the parks and are the reason this now is happening, so thanks!. I hope Disney shuts it all down. You had fun while it lasted.

Stayed there with my family in the early 90’s and was given a resort ID card that was needed to board transportation including the resort monorail or you didn’t get on. The express monorail anyone could board.
