We have been AP holders for many years. We understood the need for park reservations during the pandemic, but since then it just feels like its strictly for Disney’s benefit so that they can track and plan for crowd levels. We pay quite a bit of money for our APS, but feel like we are being punished because we have to go through one more step to enter the park of our choosing. Why are we denied the opportunity to be spontaneous when date-based guests are allowed that flexibility? And for the company to call a handful of Good To Go dates a perk is just an insult.
We love WDW and have been going since 1985, but we really think it’s more than time to ditch the park reservations for AP holders.
I stopped my passes for 3 as did my oldest daughter for her family after the pandemic because of the restrictions. They piled more on after the parks were reopened by limiting the pass tier to only the lowest & made it more difficult with those passes to know which park you could visit. They also started to charge for the fast pass. We began to feel that we were not wanted & the only people that they valued were the once a year or even once in a lifetime visitor. They completely forgot that the locals were the ones who kept them going during the slow times when the parks were young. They have no loyalty to pass holders & I hope that one day they will see that a big part of the income came from pass holders who go in to eat & often buy the newest toys or other suvineer
