For fans who regularly browse Disney Springs for outdoor apparel, rain gear, and exclusive Disney-themed merchandise, the reopening marks the return of a popular shopping stop that has been noticeably absent since late spring.
Columbia Has Been Closed Since May
The Columbia Sportswear store temporarily closed on May 27 as work began on a major refurbishment project. Since then, construction walls have surrounded the storefront, leaving guests with few clues about exactly what was happening behind the scenes.
At first, Disney Springs visitors knew only that the store would receive a “new look.” As permits and additional details emerged, it became clear that the project involved much more than a simple touch-up.
