I love the Mandalorian and enjoyed the film but in my view the big mistake is not enough Din and too much Grogu and poor plot. Seeing Din involved with Ahsoka in defeating Thrawn would have been much more plausible, just saying
Star Wars started to die when Lucas made the Force a secular mitachlorians explanation instead of a spiritual mystery connection that resonated deeper in every fans’ soul.
The prequels were entertaining, but a bit stiff because of that.
The sequels started out okay but floundered when added forced messaging. Grogu is a bit forced as a sales puppet, literally.
If you truly want Star Wars to be successful again, then you have to put the story in the hands of spiritually sensitive writers. That’s not going to be found in Hollywood.

The only reason Starfighters might do well is because of Ryan Gosling. Aside from that, Disney Star Wars is dead

I don’t understand why they aren’t doing an Old Republic film.

If you want success disney ffs just make movies or series about KOTOR 1 & 2, if done right you’d earn millions! WTF is taking you so long?!

…..lets see.
George Lucas was the CREATOR of Star Wars….
It was wildly popular and SUCCESSFUL under his guidance and leadership….
He makes the mistake of selling it to “cash in” to Disney.
Disney immediately ignores the 3 other film treatments he had already prepared….
Star Wars DIES under Disney. And now they think “getting away from Lucas” will resurrect it??
There is ZERO ‘saving Disney star wars’-ITS DEAD!! GONE! MURDERED! BURIED! 6 FEET UNDER!!
Marvel is not far behind…..
This is what “woke-disney” does to EVERYTHING it touches….

The,TV series was great but the film was too long and boring. Bring back the series. the short episodes were much better!
