They should have done this years ago.

As a resort guest, I’m tired of not being able to relax in the lobby, or grab a drink at the lounge, or find a seat by the pool because of the joyriders who “want to experience the Disney magic” without plunking down the money for theme park entry or even making a dining reservation.

What does this mean for passholders who wouldn’t be using the free parking since we get free parking at the parks with our passes?

My wife and I were at Epcot yesterday and were wondering: “If we take the shuttle to Disney Springs, could we get back to our car parked at Epcot?”

I’ve never had the beignets at Port Royal (my wife has….by boat from Disney Springs). Am I out of luck now unless I book an entire meal?

If you’re going from EPCOT to a resort and then to Disney Springs, no, you won’t be able to get back to your car from Disney Springs via a resort bus unless you’re staying in a Disney resort or you have a dining reservation within two hours.

And if you’re not staying at a resort or have a dining reservation within two hours, no, you can’t take the boat for beignets.

Believe it or not, that’s how it was in the beginning when it was just the Magic kingdom. You couldn’t get on the bus unless you proved that you were staying at the campground or one of the resorts.
