Large portion of it has to do with the prices of flts increasing due to fuel costs etc causing more people to reconsider their actions this year. Round trip Flights to Orlando from NYC last year might have cost a family of 4 around $1200 whereas those same flights this year could be as high as $3600. Its quite possible that if we see fuel costs return to under $3 those those flights decrease in price which brings more travelers and brings the price back to what Universal intended them to be. It is possible also that in the mean time a decline in visitors would force Universal to implement Annual Passes.
