Disney getting beaten by YouTube movies is hilarious!!!

    1. Ned

I haven’t heard much at all about Obsession and have no interest in it but I’m enjoying that despite practically no marketing it’s making almost as much domestically as a Disney movie that was overmarketed lol. Says something doesn’t it?

      1. KissMyBBQ

Obsession and Backroom are two horror movies I believe. Obsession only has a one million dollar budget and is making a good profit. Alternatively, more than one source, one of them being Disney, has said M&G needed 600 million just to break even.

      2. Nicole Jackson

I saw it at an Imax theatre at the Bob Bullock History Museum. There were a lot of people, throwing out 🍿 popcorn ,overspilling garbage cans.

  2. Haggerty

    The franchise is dead, Jim

    1. STO

      It’s *been* dead for years

    2. Safari4ad

      Bye!

  3. Pépe

Disney & Lucas film is wondering what to do about the future of the franchise? I have an idea! Scrap it. Admit it, Disney the majority audience has got Pedro Pascal fatigue and his wokey kiss with Stephen Colbert was the final nail in the coffin for a lot of fans. And when I mean scrap, I don’t mean scrap just Wokedalorian and Googoo, I mean scrap Temu Star Wars altogether. Nobody cares about it anymore. Nobody even cares about the three sequels anymore. It’s over!

    1. Tommy

Scrap PePe and deport him. Nuff said.

      1. If this caliber of people hate Star Wars now, then I love the new direction, it’s better than I could have ever imagined and I hope they release a new spin-off…for every month the year!

        1. TruthWithAHintOfSalt

How much did Disney pay you to say that? 🤣

        2. baby seal beater

people like you are the reason why movies suck, and they are getting worse

instead off good stories, you instead require election loss therapy delivered by corporate media

    2. Safari4ad

Or, conversely, you could just leave and allow the rest of us to enjoy it. I love how many idiots have to come into every possible forum or comment section to tell everyone how dead or bad SW is. Yet somehow, you’re all still here. Seems like that dead franchise is living rent free in a lot of fools heads.

      1. Lucy

Seems like that dead franchise lies rotting in the box office and only makes two billion dollars in the dead minds of libs

        1. Bert

          Fussbudget.

      2. ShillsGottaCry

Whiny dude could look way down in the murky bottom of the box office and still not believe the movie failed we well all move on even the shills …well maybe lol

      3. Gideon

it’s the sexist ass fanbase they all are mouthbreathers

  4. Cynthia09

Are they seriously thinking that if they had made it a season 4 series that it would’ve done better? Perhaps it would have to some. But the political and woke controversy still would’ve occured, and I doubt they would’ve had Grogu develop any.

    1. KD

Your negative comments about the perfection of Mando and Grogu are sad and disappointing. The light and humanity Grogu bring remind us there is hope. I am a fan for life.

      1. 7ate9

Oh look! One of the modern audience!! 😜 A rare species!

  5. Joseph T

People might go to see Starfighters next year just because of Ryan Gosling. He’s a hot on the charts right now due to Project Hail Mary and the fact he hasn’t slammed the audience with political hatred unlike poopoo pascal and mark hamill

    1. BroflakesCry

My dude, you haven’t been the core demographic since Trumpstein paid to astroturf your current personality and beliefs into you.

      1. Lucy

        You mean since s a t a n paid to create your personality 🤣

        1. Bert

          Paid what, your sanity.

      2. ShillsGottaCry

Bruh just ticked because it didn’t make two billion dollars at the box office like they anticipated in their pea brains lol

  6. Night Fury

You watch. Pedro will play the victim and get his expensive underwear in a knot because nobody went to see his movie. It’s what he wanted he said so himself that he did not want conservatives money or viewership. Well, he didn’t get it. 😁

    1. Troy

Rachel Zegler didn’t want it and didn’t get it either ha ha

      1. JustAnotherGal

The moral of it all is: never go full Rachel Zegler!!

    2. Easy Cheesy

I for one can’t wait to be blamed for it flopping. I consider it an honor to not give my money to people who don’t want me. Not to mention it’s a pleasure to play my part in helping Disney lose money

  7. Larry

I really doubt Disney is all that worried about what to do about the franchise. They’ll just keep right on pushing more and more of it out there and losing millions on the “modern audience” since they think they’re actually more than fifty percent of the entire viewers. You’ll notice that when only the “modern audience” shows up to their woke DEI films like Lightyear, The Little Black Mermaid and Dirt Brown and this current loser that they don’t become box office sensations.

  8. Grayskull7

Pedro has already called his audience out for being “man babies”. In first place, Pedro is not a real man so can’t expect him to know what a real man really is and what real men want to watch. Secondly, it’s so ridiculous he’s acting this way when he got what he wanted. He said before he did not want “Trump supporters” watching his movies. The Trump supporters didn’t watch it as he wished. Instead he should be cheering and pleased that the audience he didn’t want didn’t show up. Sheez!

    1. Adam

It’s almost like he would rather MAGA come if he’s gonna cry that they didn’t 😂

      1. David D

Pascal- I blame Trump supporters for my movie failing!!!!

        Trump supporters- You’re welcome

        1. Tinkerbelle

Please show me where Pedro made this statement. I’ve searched everywhere and was not able to find anything showing that he made that comment. Thank you so much for your help!

          1. Allison

Suggest you check YouTube you’re welcome

    2. Keep It Real

We stayed away like he wanted, what do these people want from us? Either you want the audience or you don’t. If the conservatives had gone and given the movie more money would he have cried saying too many Trump supporters went? Makes absolutely no sense to me!!

      1. M-5000

Nah not just politics involved men are just burned out on star wars it’s been watered down and drowned too many times people just aren’t interested anymore the true fans only want the OG trilogy and/or the prequels they don’t want the Rey sequels either

        1. Terry Lee Nystrom

Well, I can agree here. However, if you put aside the politics, it was actually a good movie. I support Trump and would give the movie an 8 out of 10. I did not like the Rey trilogy at all, horrible writing. As far as woke goes, Star Wars was a family legacy, meaning sex wasn’t a part of it. It’s a shame it has to be even an issue. Star Trek was the place for sexy.

          1. Janice

Then you’re not a real Trump voter at heart if you don’t care that Pedro and Mark Hamill hates him and you. You literally just gave your money to someone who would rather see you dead than appreciate you.

      2. Oswald

I guess his insults are his way of saying thank you to the trump voters for listening to him

      3. Tinkerbelle

Hi, can you please tell me where I can find the information where he told people to “stay away” I was not able to find anything, anywhere in which he made those statements or suggestions. Thank you so much!

        1. Allison

Type “Pedro Pascal says worst thing” on YouTube. The video is by Mike Zeroh and is 9.07 minutes long. Hope this helps.

Please show me where Pedro has made these comments about not wanting Trump supporters to watch his movies and calling people “man babies” I couldn’t find anything, anywhere in which he made these statements. Thank you so much for your help!

      1. Allison

        Saw it on YouTube

      2. PortaPowerPal

Dear Tinkerbelle go to YouTube. In the search bar type “Pedro Pascal says worst thing”. It’ll be the first video that comes up. You’ll find it.

            AI running your brain much?

      3. Gideon

because he didn’t dont listen to these virgin ass asmongold fans

    4. Disney should’ve fired him for saying that, but first see if a part two is going to happen. People need to stop blurting out their politics.

  9. Pnotunr

A lot of politics here for what is just a Sci-Fi movie. I won’t see it because I didn’t care for Pascal’s acting, or Grogu’s cuteness. Neither appealed to me. I did enjoy some of the Star Wars spinoffs. Obi Wan Kenobi held my interest. I’ll see how any of the future spinoffs fare at the theaters. If they get great reviews, I’ll go. If not, I won’t. I certainly won’t care about the politics of the cast.

    1. Allison

Some people don’t have the guts to be able to separate the art from the artist but I for one knowing that the artist who painted it would rather I not be alive than hang their art over my fireplace, I’d rather not buy their art at all

  10. Frank

Your bias was overtly evident. No man knows of the movie you speak of.

  11. Tinkerbelle

I can’t wait to see the movie! Although I’m not going to lie, I was very disappointed that I’ve been paying for the Disney+ streaming service partly because of The Mandalorian show and they now make me have to pay even more to see what happens next. For someone like me on a very limited budget in this economy it sort of feels like a betrayal after staying such a loyal customer for so long. Maybe they should’ve offered Disney+ members a discount on theater tickets or something. I’m just saying…

    1. Allison

      My sympathies little shill

  12. Tinkerbelle

I find it absolutely ridiculous that people feel the overwhelming need to bring politics into every single little facet of life. The comments I read some negative comments about Pedro Pascal so I spent 2 hrs researching the internet. I found Nothing to substantiate any of the claims that he told Trump/MAGA supporters to not come see his movies. Again, I found nothing even close to suggest he said anything like that. It’s just another way to spread hateful rhetoric. These people should remember when they do this that it’s not only affecting Pedro Pascal but everyone who worked on any of his movies or shows. How fair Christian or American is that I ask?

    1. Allison

Another lib that thinks all the Disney news is on Reddit and X; I get my news from YouTube and YouTube comments don’t fib.
Also another lib who should ask themselves is it Christian or American of Pedro or Disney to treat the audience the way they have? It’s more Christian and American to stay away from people who bash you, get a clue! And remember Rachel Zegler!!!

    2. PortaPowerPal

Not that Disney and their entitled stars haven’t betrayed us?

    3. Gideon

these ppl are brainless drones man, they literally support a pedophile in office, they should all drop dead if you ask me

  13. Coachlunk

I watched the movie last weekend. The audience at 11 am was mostly families with younger kids. I will admit I didn’t watch any previews. Tried to go in open-minded.
The movie can not be carried on their friendship alone. Was I watching a fraggle rock remake. The story line was gone. I could go on but if you’ve seen it I won’t bother. Muppets meets Star Wars.
I did go watch the YouTube video of Pedro. How is he still working? Gina Carano was fired for a comment on social media about politics (Disney just settled her wrongful termination). By the way Lucas films is excited to work with her again.
    Ugh!!

    1. Janice

He’ll keep working as long as people like you keep watching his stuff obviously; hope this time you learned your lesson

  14. 7ate9

Oh please, Disney’s not worried about their movie being replaced. They do not care. They do care if they lose money, they do not care if their movies suck, they do not care about their filthy rich stars insulting the audience or individuals, they do not care about said same audience at all. So why should I care to see their products?

  15. TruthWithAHintOfSalt

Pedro: My movies are not for you!
Also Pedro: Why didn’t you come to my movie?!

  16. Dee Dee

Seriously?! He’s blaming the failure of this movie on the President?! Donald Trump is not even in the movie nor did he endorse it nor did he publicly tell anyone to not go see it! A bad movie is a bad movie!! A rotten movie star making wrong choices is a rotting movie star making wrong choices! It has nothing whatsoever to do with Trump! What is wrong with these people?!
Also putting the blame on Trump and his voters just shows how truly powerful they really are! I mean, they’re the audience that apparently didn’t show up, right? And the movie didn’t even break even, right? Right!

    1. Carly

He called all the men in my family “babies” because they didn’t go watch. For his information the men in my family are way more masculine men than Pedro ever was and ever will be and only real men care the original Star Wars anyway so there

    2. Eric Bates

He also blamed it on r*cism. There are black people who weren’t interested in the movie either, does that make them r*cist to?

    3. Tom

And the Dems think the Republicans are the ones who bring politics into everything? I didn’t do one single thing political against this movie. I didn’t riot in the street in front of the theater or anything. I was merely told to F-off by Pedro so I stayed home cooking, cleaning and spending time with my family. Is he going to cry about that? He has no say so over my life or my money.

  17. Kurb IT

I got more pleasure and entertainment staying at home listening to the songs I’ve heard a hundred times than I would have in a loud theater with Disney adults

  18. James

Well, to be fair making Mando season 4 was not Jon Favero’s choice. It is one of the remaining decisions made by Kathleen Kennedy to make it a movie. It should have stayed as a show where the full story and story ark into Asoka came into play. Buth yeah, now the the star wars content that was approved to include next year’s movie is Kathleen Kennedy’s decisions at the top success or failure. Once Disney gives the Greenlight. There isn’t much you can change without scraping the whole thing then repitching. Her leaving is a cause for celebration because new projects announced now will not have her fingers in them anymore.

  19. Jimmy

I was bashed and told by Pascal that I basically wasn’t welcome to his movies now I’m being bashed and blamed for not showing up? You can’t have me both ways. If you want me, invite me. If you don’t want me fine by me but don’t come crying to me when I don’t show up.

  20. Barbara

Pedro: Don’t come to my movies! 😡
Pedro a week later: You didn’t come! 😡

  21. Don

He’s just sore because his movie got beat by two low budget horror flicks lol 😆

    1. AlexC

He’s also sore for other reasons 😆 not to do with the movies if you catch my drift

  22. P Tibbits

Bro! The Mando move was average at best. I’ve followed S.W. brand for as long as I can remember, and fell asleep in a few that I took the kids to, but none have been so soulless and lackluster as this one. Disney will continue to ruin the story to my mind. They haven’t got the mix right and TBH I doubt its a good fit. I think a little more serious and gritty would bring back punters. This beige homogeneous compilation of bits and pieces of the original is Temu like, but does not do reflect the hundreds of millions spent on it. My advice if you’re thinking of watching it… don’t! Its a waste of space in a busy world, certainly don’t spend money on it.

  23. Paula

Nobody came to my movie and it’s all you’re fault! — Pedro Pascal

What can I say except…you’re welcome!

  24. Thomas Dunner

How is the blame for this movie’s failure to be put on Trump?! I don’t recall him telling the fanbase to stay away. Pedro is the one who did that! Stars literally think slamming the audience will have no consequences.

  25. Vincent

    Star Wars: The Pascal Menace
Star Wars: Attack of the Fanbase
Star Wars: Revenge of the Audience
    Star Wars: A Fallen Hope
Star Wars: The Fans Strike Back
Star Wars: Return of the Flop

  26. Steve

Can’t wait to watch Pedro quit acting and be part of a massive walkout of actors who refuse to sign exclusive contracts with MGM, RKO, and the other studios when the classic Studio System comes back after the media giants are broken up and Hollywood is rewound back to the 1930s and 40s. He’ll be screaming how he’s not a commodity or a prize racehorse and would rather never be in any movie again than have the studios control his image.

  27. Rose Young

I don’t care what the critics say, I’m going to support the Disney company 💯++++++. We’re heading to the movie to see and support. I fell in love with the series Seasons 1-3 on Disney+ and fell in love with Mando and Grogu. Thanks Disney. I’m a die-hard fan 🤗💝🙏🏽🙌🏾👏🏾🙋🏾‍♀️

  28. JP

I dont want any grogu movies. We do not want any little puppet dolls in our Star Wars movies. PLEEEZE!!!!

  29. Laura Kelley

I mentioned this before the movie came out. Not everyone has Disney+. So only those who saw the series on Disney+ would probably see the movie. Maybe listen to your audience before you put the movie in theaters. I think the producers are ignoring your audience (viewer). We were educated with the Star War people gradually and then new actors were brought in gradually over 30 years. The new Star War actors were only introduced to us through Disney +. Again, these new actors are only known on Disney +, NOT EVERYONE HAS THAT channel.

  30. Nicole Jackson

I saw this at an Imax theatre in the Bob Bullock History Museum. It looked like most seats were filled. Later there were garbage cans piling up with popcorn containers.
