Update on Main Street, U.S.A., Refurbishment at Disneyland Park
Construction walls first appeared around the Town Square Gazebo at Disneyland Park last November. Piece by piece, Disneyland Paris Resort slowly refurbished the entire garden structure while allowing guests to interact with it as much as possible. Now, it seems like the only European Disney Resort is just days away from wrapping up this multi-month maintenance project.
On May 18, X (formerly known as Twitter) user @DLPReport shared two photos of the current state of the Town Square Gazebo in the plaza at the start of Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park (Paris). The photos show that the refurbishment is complete on two of the four stairways leading to the Victorian-style gazebo, and the other two remain blocked by large plywood box-shaped structures.

Despite the refurbishment, guests can still enter the Town Square Gazebo at Disneyland Park. Disneyland Paris Resort has not publicly offered an estimated end date for this project on Main Street, U.S.A.
This is just one of many ongoing refurbishments at the original European Disney park. Most significantly, Disney cast members recently blocked the bridge to Sleeping Beauty Castle with plywood walls for a refurbishment project expected to continue through late September. Disney Stars on Parade has been rerouted due to the project, but the castle walkthrough and the Lair of the Dragon (“La Tanière du Dragon”) will remain open throughout the entire construction period.
