I don’t care what anti-american pedo Pascal says, I’m not watching anything with him in it, he’s extremely overrated and we’ve got fatigue from him.

I’ll watch Mando and Grogru as long as they are there. I don’t judge others for politics or gossip. Time for some people to grow up

Star wars is great back when it first came out…but to many stories..to many same actors..we need new actors…old ones should let other people fill their dreams…like pedro pascal…we dont need to see him in every movie..there are other actors who fill their dreams…

I really don’t mind an upcoming movie although there’s a lot riding upon how much they grow him(Din Grogu) since I’ve understood he’s supposed to be older in the movie. That’s taking a huge chance. We love the baby Din Grogu, well as far as being 50 years old and still being a baby goes. But it’s taking a chance nonetheless with the audience. All that aside not continuing the series in my mind is absolute insanity. It’s like having a Golden Goose that lays golden eggs everyday, and one day simply decide to cook it for dinner. I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t have the backbone too actually dare spend money on this series for several further seasons. They should know by now how much the fan base loves this series, and would continue to put money into streaming it no matter how long they continued. But cutting it now after only three seasons is in my mind something that really feels more like a betrayal then anything else. It’s really sad the way this seems to be going to take, and after reading the entire article, I’m seeing a picture I do not like. And there’s really too many if’s riding on what will happen and which decisions will later be made about all of this. To me this signals unsure ground. I truly hope this whole thing now and this fantastic and highly beloved endeavor doesn’t end up as one giant minefield killer quagmire.

Movies can be a great upgrade to a story. However, I like the TV series format much better. It gives a deeper understanding and more fulfilling experience. Think on any or every full length uncut movie vs the abridged nightmare that leaves you saying “whaaaaat was that?”

      Totally agree

The shoe was great when it started. Then it strayed from the story, got rid of great actors because they weren’t woke, then they went away from the storyline and went woke and lost 40% of its audience. Let this trash show die, they’ve ruined it on true Disney fashion

I’ve loved the show since the first episode on Disney. I’ve enjoyed all three seasons plus on the side with Boba Fett
I’m excited to see them in the theater! I hope it doesn’t end. I’ll watch it whether in the theater or streaming.
      I also love Pedro Pascal!

        I agree.

The fatigue spoken of in the article comes from the former head of Lucasfilm and her blindness of not following the path George laid out before he sold. If done properly, the IP would not be suffering now.

I was an original Disney+ mainly for the then upcoming Mando. Then I was strung along and along to the point I don’t trust Disney and I will not watch Mando in the theater…Disney really turned us off to the point I will cancel my + in July and they won’t give a damn.

    They should do both.
The woke wave did the franchise no good. But it is understandable when you know 80-90% of Disney is lhbrq+.
But still they should focus on the other 90 of their audience because they make them the money. So I like John how he does it and I will support his vision. The force is neutral in the end.

I’ll wait for it to come on Disney+

Grew up on the original Star Wars movies (4,5 &,6). A New Hope was the first movie I saw in the movies. Loved all of them!! When all of the others came out, I was excited at first but they just didn’t have the same feel as the originals. I found them to be “just…. okay”. I think there’s definitely been an oversaturation of Star Wars related stuff over the past few years. I started watching The Mandolorian when it first came out and didn’t understand what all the hype was about. I stopped watching it and must admit I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. Not going to see the movie.

I personally hate movies, when I want to watch something I want to sit down for a few hours and binge watch or if I’m only free for a few minutes I’ll watch an episode and stop, I’ll try this with movies but then your pausing a movie and it’s just wonky… when I put a movie on and I actually get to finish it in always unhappy with length I hate when movies are like an hour and a half and I feel unsatisfied with length because I always want more, at least with a TV show that’s like 4 seasons long that’s like 40 minute episodes X 10 episodes a season that’s like a lot more content to chew on while the next product comes out.. the mandalorian for example is a total of 18 hours long, the movie is probably gonna be like 2 hours… Season 1 is 5 hours long that’s immediately already better and more watch time than a movie, I also prefer how shows open up and lead into the next part and don’t immediately close out because they are open to a new season which gives people hype for more, a movie opens like a movie and has to catch a viewer then your watching and your like welp… It’s over… And they just end, one of my absolute favorite TV shows is doctor who because it never ends and I can go back and pick and choose the favorite episodes I wanna rewatch unlike a movie which could be viewed the same way but it functions much more poorly. I’m not saying I hate movies I just hate movie lengths and would much much rather pay for a TV show that’s the entire purpose of why I have Disney+ is for the TV shows

I always looked forward to watching the series. I love Pedro Pascal and Grogu. It’s a series I am going to miss. Just like the Acolyte, Disney decided to remove good shows.

We don’t have franchise, we have lack of focus and commitment from Lucasfilm. When they get a hit, they drag their feet about follow-up seasons leaving the fan base frustrated.

  15. Melody

I love the Mandolorian and Grogu, I will definitely see the movie. I really wish that Disney would proceed with making the Season 4. Mando & Grogu are my favorite characters.
