Nobody cares about Disney Star Wars anymore
A lot of people are sick of Disney period
The baby yoda obsession is over. Nobody cares about a fifty year old baby that isn’t growing or talking
People have Pedro Pascal fatigue
His kiss didn’t help
Other politics
People said why watch a TV show in the theater
Why go to an expensive theater anyway when you can wait one more month for it to hit streaming
I don’t care what they do with the Mango and Gogurt franchise they can lose money on fifty more sequels and prequels and inbetweenquels if they want but I’m not watching any of it
Disney literally sees a money loss as a big success; as long as the “modern audience” are happy we’ll get more pedro pascal movies until he’s a hundred years old and has to be held up in his mandalorian suit with wires
Disney sees only what they *want* to see. Like you said as long as the modern audience/shills/leftists are satisfied then so is Disney even if it means losing millions of dollars and continually losing more and more of the majority audience when they are rejected and bashed by the icons they employ. They probably only read Twitter comments to. I read the YouTube comments. And when every review video has negative comments about a movie that means the movie is gonna fail. Disney needs to read more YouTube comments.
Never got into the baby yoda fad in the first place. Never knew it existed until I kept seeing baby yoda plastered everywhere in the store. All fads pass and now Walmart and Burger King is stuck with all merch which is a horrid and excess waste of plastic and other materials.
No matter what shills say, this movie did not break even. A 165 million global opening for a Disney movie spells massive failure. Especially when the cost was said to be around 160-300. The latter number might include what was poured into the heavy marketing but I’m not sure. And how about all that merch no one is buying? I heard stores were having to put it on sale already to try and get rid of it. The movie would’ve needed to have made 300-600 million to break even. Sure, we’ve got another weekend to go but if it didn’t even make over 200 million the first weekend chances are it won’t bring in even a fourth of that the next weekend. Face it Disney, nobody cares for your Temu Star Wars anymore.

Nobody cares for baby Googoo anymore either. If this movie featured him older and talking it might have drawn a few more fans in

They’ll write it off as a tax loss and move on with more failures
