I hope whatever lead to the decision of her leaving the show is nothing too serious. However if there was ever a time that a recast doesnt change anything to an emotional investment into the actress this would be the pefect time.
Lead character? Ginny is and never will be a lead character. She has always been a minor character up until Rowling decided to half hazardly throw her at Harry after dating all the Gryffindors. The relationship ending is still trash and never made sense.
She is in the touring production of “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”. It’s probably messing with her tour dates.
Filming a 1 minute scene probably didnt help her stay in the hp production. Even though it would be huge for her.
“Unforeseen circumstances” could be anything. But if shes not pulling out of the play, I cant help but wonder.
The change in race of several characters portrayed as white in the books is too jarring for me. I can’t get into a tv series that isn’t faithful to the source. I was already hesitant to watch, particularly given rowlings phobic little escepade a while back. But now, a knee jerk change in cast? For a season 2? Before they even released season one? No. No no no no and no. This fan won’t be watching.
I understand the original characters are insanely different from new ones but that DOES NOT mean that people have the right to be racist Disrespectful or rude THEY ARE ONLY KIDS like people need to get a flipping life u have too much time to be bullying KIDS so go touch grass or hug a tree because i bet your screen time is too much ✌️😭
