So the ride has been severally downgraded under the guise of reliability and uptime? As usual, go to B mode rather than conduct any actual mechanical maintenance. I also love the nonsense about improving the exit. How is removing props and decor a good thing? Perhaps some actual construction was warranted?

Well stated!! I agree 100%… let’s downgrade the attraction and cater to the loudest complainers… not the majority, mind you, just the loudest. Weak decision on Disney’s part!

Changes are always hard, but in the past I’ve noticed that it’s usually fine and done with good reason. Just continue to have wonderfully good times at Disneyland. Kids don’t care if everyone is happy. Remember to take them to the Post Office where they can have a ball pushing buttons and hearing characters talk to them! Always a big hit!

I too my then-1 year old (13 months) son on the ride in 1999. He rode fine and loved when I spun the car different directions. We both had a blast. I just wish now that he was old enough to remember it.

So…..take the experience of self spinning away from everyone so someone can sit their kid on their lap? How inclusive……🤦
