Another area that should be fixed is restricting the resort only monorail from Magic Kingdom to resort guests only at the end of the evening. Resort guests are waiting in huge crowds to get back to their resorts, while day guests take the monorail knowing it will stop at the TTC also. Perhaps they can for the end of the evening have the monorail just stop at the Contemporary, main Poly station and GF only. That would be a plus to resort guests paying for the privilege. Some nights it has taken us over 45 minutes to get to our resort.
Does this mean on property guests won’t be able to go to another resort resort? If an on-property guest wants to go to a different resort via Disney springs, or even via a park, I hope Disney will allow on property guests to use the whole system.
I’m perfectly fine with this! I wish they would block off the entrance to Saratoga Springs (my home resort) from Disney Springs. Way too many people (non resort guests) park at DS and then walk over to the resort and stay for the entire day. This takes seating and amentites away from paying guests or DVC members. I truly wish EVERY resort did what they do at Beach Club. It would make thing so much easier and much more enjoyable as a paying guest/DVC members in the resorts.
