I vote for three things: 1) reduce the man by sending home all the illegal aliens, 2) cut Disney World prices by 75% and 3) cut Josh De’Amero’s salary by 99.9%. that ought to bring it to something that’s more commensurate with his actual worth, it’s still amazingly generous.

I meant “demand,” not “the man.”

    2. Ditto!
Moreover, the monies have always been “Disney” prices but times have changed immensely.
It now cost as much for the two of us as it did for our family of 4 in tecent years.
The punch came when my PTSD, LUNG DAMAGE AND LEH AND BACK injuries makes it a severe challenge to make through a day.
It has come to a sad breaking point
that we cannot go to WDW after 45 years.
Heartbroken and disappointed at the coporate money grubbing stock holders and CEO paid millions salary turn WDW has taken.
DAS abled me to come and enoj the park.
      Sorryful good bye.

so, if they send what you call aliens home are you going to apply for their job

  2. A 22% price decrease is interesting for Disney. Do you think it will actually make a difference for families planning trips?

It’s probably more Like a 22% increase baking charge $1000 a ticket people will still go. People are Disney crazy and they are crazy for going to Disney anybody that goes. There is crazy. It’s not worth it. Trust me. I’ve done enough by living right here and I won’t go there no more and I haven’t gone there and I refuse to give them even a penny the people that go there are ignorant drunks and they treat their employees like shit

Probably cheaper to go on a cruise, everything included.

The tickets are overpriced and the parks are too crowded… most people are waiting in lines for 60+ minutes just to ride a ride that lasts less than 2 minutes. It’s pathetic and disrespectful to all the hardworking people who save up $$$$ to take their families on a vacation. Overpriced, crowded and overrated. My family will only go back when the price comes down and the maximum number of guests is drastically reduced. I don’t see that happening because the corporation itself has been hijacked by a bunch of greedy, out-of-touch weirdos. Walt is turning in his grave.

Tell us you’re a drama queen without telling us you’re a drama queen…no one is forcing you to do anything. Go cry and complain somewhere else please

Go away yourself liberal. Take your whiny tears with you

        1. PJ

We are confused, what does any of that have to do with liberal or conservative or politics for that matter? Sounds like you are very weak and are easily triggered, kinda pathetic

      2. Katie

How is this guy a drama queen? Disney being too expensive is a talk. I know families who want to go but can’t afford it. So are they drama queens?

        1. john

Depends, are they complaining that they can’t go to Disney but have made other life choices that dictate how much discretionary money they have because they also wanted the latest iPhone? Things are expensive, Disney, Food, Gas, whatever. If you want something you figure it out, if you can’t afford it all then so be it. I want a beach house but I can’t afford it, I don’t sit here and complain that others can.

          1. Bob

“discretionary money” for people under the age of 50? You have certainly revealed how little you are in touch with current events.

Who cares about their prices … People ought to be more concerned about their transgender & lgbtq agendas and demonic symbolism in their parks that their trying to influence and direct our children towards … Disneyland is an evil place to take your children . . . 🙏❤️✝️

You need to consult a medical professional. Delusions can be a serious symptom.

  7. Pure Disney greed,period.

This price reduction does help some. But a Disney vacation is still very expensive. Add to the overall pricing, even with the Lightening Lane price reduction, the fact that 20% to 25% of the parks are closed for the reimagining projects and the net effect is you are paying more for less if you take your family now. Way more for less. I am still hopeful that Josh D can turn the Guest experience around for Disney, and undo many of the Bob Iger changes and influences, and realign Disney with Walt’s vision, in all areas of Disney’s entertainment offerings.

Simple approach: get more friendly with sponsorships like in the past. Start with the Trillion dollar companies (Nvidia, Apple, MS, Berkshire Hathaway, etc.).

I remember a time when lightning lane was FREE and a TRUE happy place to be but sadly those days are long gone 😢

  11. Robert

Here’s a novel idea! Why not go back to Fast Pass! It was free for those who chose to use it and one didn’t have to dig deeper in your pocket to find the extra money to pay for it. It was open to one and all! It feels like after one pays a high admission price to enter the park the price will double to use lightning Lane. If my family decides to go we have cut the number of days we would spend there as the increased cost has definitely impacted our travel. Then there is the issue of the crowds and it limits what you can actually get on making me question is it worth it at all. I realize it’s a business and they exist to make money but on the current track it will become a place for the ultra elite or they will price themselves out of business.

    Keep the poor out!!!

Disney already blew it. My family is taking our money to Universal which is far cheaper and Universal is openly greedy. Disney’s greed game looks at percentages but fails to understand psychology. By pushing what consumers accept they failed to account for resentment which is a permanent. I now hate Disney to the point that they shall not get my money even if I did want to go back. Their disrespect for me and my family rules forevermore. That stitch in my mind cannot be overcome by any means such greedy people is willing to ever accept.
