Over the past 50 years I have not encountered a worse experience at Disney World. It is sad, they are no longer the leader in family entertainment and experience.
In short, the food was fine, but the restaurants were dirty and if you come late tables, floors, etc., were filthy and uncleaned as there were a lack of staff to keep the facilities clean.
We stayed on property, service of rooms lacked in basic service. For example, coffee packets not replaced, cups, towels, not replaced room not straightend, etc.
Transportation lacked in coordination, ie usually there were folks to help – there were None! No one in the parking areas to help guests get where they were going.
Ride liines terrible, exemtremly long, with no concern to move people through them quickly.
I have been a fan of Disney for years. When I retired 4 years ago we took all our children and grandchildren for a week. Returned every other year since then. I’ll think twice now and look for new venues where entertainment companies are trying to garner attendees, not ignore them, and cut services while increasing prices.
It is sad. My parents took us to Disneyland in the late 60’s. I was hoping to pass it on, but never thought Disney would be the deciding factor where we went next.
