Is it true that Disney Stores are returning? This is wonderful news if it is true! Thank you Disney!

  2. I remember spending hours in those stores as a kid. Do you know if they’ll have the same iconic merchandise?

A trip to a Disney store was always the highlight of my shopping day. So glad that they could be coming to a mall near me.

It would be nice to know where. They were always used as a connection to the parks. People came to get matching shirts, tickets etc. Having worked the Disney store for many years I can attest to that. For many guests this was as close to the Disney parks as they would get. Unfortunately I bet they will be located in all the huge cities where no one wants to dodge feces to get in to shop. I set and opened the Chicago flag ship store – it was beautiful and it was destroyed by lo-class thugs. Nie to see hope it is successful. I remain mildly optimistic after years of devastation by Bob Iger – worst CEO EVER!

Disney cares nothing about nostalgia when they recently fired the group handling physical media. I will never watch another upcoming Disney movie again if they won’t put it on dvd. I hate you, Disney. Just because your cr@ppy expensive Disney+ exists and streaming in general is pushed down the publics throat doesn’t mean that’s what people want. Many people prefer to own their media rather than depend on the Internet, pay monthly fees and have their content altered and labeled by sensitive libs. It will always be physical media for me.

Disney would care about nostalgia if there’s money involved. But I know what you mean. They’re already skimping on their soundtrack CDs when they no longer include the whole score in them.

Too bad it will only be limited Pop-up stores. I wish they would bring back the Disney Stores. I am fortunate to have a Disney outlet 45 min. away from me….but many people are not so lucky.

The Disney Stores one of the best things that ever happened It sucked when they took it away because they were losing money because they were making trash products and movies and now they’re paying the biggest price after firing about 1000 people because they aren’t making money because of the whoa crap that they’re trying to push that Disney never was meant to be. Now on the other hand having a Disney store would be great but it’s only a pop up store under A name they’re probably gonna sell the crap that didn’t sell and what people don’t want and because it doesn’t work it won’t come back. I used to love going into the Disney Store and I would buy stuff that I didn’t even intend to buy just by walking around and seeing and touching and feeling the stuff that is there instead of scrolling and scrolling and not really trying to find what I need on the Internet website. Every one of them needs to be fired and someone who really cares about the Walt Disney Company needs to come back and just put everything back the way it was and my God they’ll probably start making a ton of money. Bring back the Disney Stores for real and bring them back all over I’m not traveling to some big city just to go to a Disney store that has crap that didn’t sell at the parks Let’s call it what it is.

It is all well and good that Disney is opening pop up Disney stores in the US. What about Canada? There are a significant number of DVC members and regular park visitors that are Canadians. It is bad enough that the majority of us don’t feel safe or welcome in the US right now and many are waiting until after the mid-term elections occur to see if enough things change that we can return. We bought into DVC because we are Disney fans, loyal to the company and want our children and grandchildren to experience the magic. Don’t forget the cities where your previous Disney stores made you a lot of money. Don’t forget your Canadian Disney supporters.

I hope Canada will get some stores back, at least in the major cities. i really miss the stores and cast members
