As a parent of a nonbinary teenager, this saddens me. This is once again excluding those that in between people. It will not stop me from going to Disney, but I do wish they would have updated the announcement instead of going back to “Ladies and Gentleman”. There are several ways to do so that would work just as well, such as “Welcome one and all…”
Life is not fair and your child and you should understand that the rest of us do not have to buy into this nonsense. Don’t be offended by people supporting science. Being non-bianary is a 20th century idea that was created and not scientifically based and is a choice. If you and your child don’t understand that you are a boy if you have XY chromosomes or a girl if you have XX chromosomes then you need to go back to school. For awhile it was PC to buy into this. Glad sanity is coming back.
Jesus commands us as Christians, to spread the Gospel. Not liking the Truth doesn’t mean the person delivering the message is hateful. It just means you disagree. Would you say something to a person about to drive off a cliff? I would hope so.

Let’s try a scenario. If your child was missing and the police asked for perhaps some hair to sample the dna because they found some dna somewhere else, would you give them some hair and tell them “now this is “non-binary dna okay, so make sure that’s what you are looking for” or would you say your child is a boy or a girl?
Your child is either male or female and you are failing as a parent if you let them believe there is another “option.” If I strip, frolic around in the ocean making squeaking noises, eating raw fish and calling myself “Flipper” do you think Seaworld would let me join one of their dolphin shows because I “identity” as, and believe myself to be, a dolphin? No, because I am an adult woman regardless of how I identify. Your child is either a boy or a girl, regardless of how they identify. Take them to your nearest Planetarium and make them watch the presentation, so they learn that the Universe does not actually revolve around them and a tiny minority do not get to dictate changes that affect the majority.
Their is no “in between”. There are men and women. You are simply making something up and wanting to force everybody else to have to partake in your make believe world.
Under new leadership Disney is finally bringing some sanity back? Ladies and gentlemen is as inclusive as it gets.
Anyone else that pretends there is more can still make pretend they are space aliens if they want. Parents abusing their kids convincing them to call themselves non-binary can still do so and live in make pretend world.
