Hopefully the “holy” Finloni and the “wonderful ” Witwer can turn this iconi franchise around. Its crazy that Disney, who so wonderfully and organically, did amazing movies about strong women and Star Wars, with its strong cast of women and men of all colors and species (lol) somehow thought that wasn’t enough and went for agenda over story and characters….Hopefully we can get things back to amazement for all and not just the progressive few….

The day Lucas sold SW to Disney, I and most other OG Star Wars fans saw the fight scene between Anakin and Obi-won in our heads. Anakin representing Disney, and Obi-won representing the fans screaming “I loved you! You were supposed to be the chosen one!”. Just as Obi-won considered Anakin dead from that moment forward, so did most fans see Star Wars as dead too. A decade later, we weren’t wrong.
There’s always hope. Kenobi was ok Ashoka was ok the acolyte was ok . The series finale of the clone wars was great as was ‘the tales of’ series. Mandalorian series was ok. We need Disney to make great star wars films IMO. Hope feloni does what KK couldn’t. There’s always hope. Definitely looking forward to Shadow Lord. Disney still makes great cartoons. IMO.
Thankfully Disney is being broken up under antitrust and Washington will be taking away Lucasfilm to hand it back to the Lucas family on a silver platter. That means the end of Star Wars as a franchise as well as in the Disney parks. It’s for the best that Star Wars disappears as a franchise and sit on a shelf collecting dust.
