All that Starwars fans wanted was a good, balanced continuation of the universe. With good solid female leads, and male leads.

Little girl sets fire to a stone and steel fortress, Jedi portrayed as bad, Dark Side users portrayed as good, twins who have the exact same haircut despite not being together for more than a decade, one twin pretending to be the other one despite having a giant brand/mark on her forehead that goes unnoticed and disappears, protagonist is basically not doing anything but is just along for the ride, nepotism hire actress is really bad, how did the senator learn of the Jedi’s secrets and secret mission, why where they on a planet for 7 weeks and didn’t perform orbital scans that revealed the fortress, why did the rat creature turn on the Jedi master for a little bit to help the evil twin, why did all the witches die, why is trying to kill the jedi by using a mind controlled wookie not a problem, why is killing a dark side smoke monster that appears to be dissolving a young child considered bad, why didn’t Jedi master levitate both twins of the bridge.
This is just what I remember, it’s been so long since I watched this. There was so much more.. This show was bad, you might like it, good for you, but I think you just have bad taste or get easily distracted by shiny lightsabers..
Honestly, I don’t think the high republic nor the acolyte should come back. Not because it isn’t a good idea but because there’s too many problems that need to be fixed. The actor Amanda Stemberg with the distasteful distract isn’t doing herself any favors. Even though online there is always harassments but do they actually know where they came from. More likely people with harrasments are basically the woke people who don’t want people to work together they just want division so they can claim that they want to help people get together by tearing them apart. Sometimes there are just normal criticism that people treat it as an attack on a mother. So, in a way I don’t really believe the threats. Even if there were she took the opportunity and attack people that may not be involved so no more of this rubbish please.
The BOTS claiming this series was good are literally the producers of this dumpster fire. I’d literally take REY over the “pOwER OF mAaAAAaAnNyYy” and I Absolutely HATE Rey. So to those saying Acolyte was any good: Go back to TWILIGHT.
