I’d be really upset if I paid for an expensive ticket and then $37 for a lightening lane pass and couldn’t get on the rides. The Disney Company makes a lot of money and keep raising the cost so why are the rides breaking down so much? Where’s all that money goin if none of it is keeping the rides open for the guests that go there to ride those rides? Crazy.
I was there March 3rd and 4th 2026 and we did NOT experience any problems. Well maybe 1 thing I can complain about is the other guests raising their hands blocking me in the pictures that got taken on the rides.
Well DUH. Of course they are deteriorating. This is the result of Iger not having one bit of interest in maintaining IP. This is why putting bean counters in charge is the death knell of the company – any company. Back in the early 200’s the same thing happened when Eisner lost interest in the company. I was asked to go through and critically document what I saw – which I did with photos/written report. There is a reason Walt would get down on his hands and knees to observe the condition of the parks….
And why he would be outraged today. I have given up on Disney as it has become. Vintage or nothing. But, I did enjoy reading Imagineering. I just wish the enthusiasm reflected in Leslie’s book was reflected in the company.
And this is a “surprise” why?? There are literally THOUSANDS of video’s on Youtube about the HORRIBLE state of maintenance at the Disney parks!
2 Reasons: First-all the money lost over the last 10 years on WOKE films has led to a capital crunch where there is just less $$ to keep the parks/rides/hotels properly maintained.
The second reason is the horrible lack of TALENT in the maintenance and engineering depts as DEI dominated the hiring over ACTUAL ABILITY since wokeness took over the house of Mouse-so now you get “Tianna’s Broken Adventure”, while former imagineers are creating mind blowing rides at Epic Universe…

What’s with the absolutely bad writing & confused grammar in the last five paragraphs??
This use of “they” and “their” (plural) when quoting or referring to a SINGULAR (allbeit, apparently SEXLESS) Park Visitor — is quite jarring !
You literally write [They] visited the Park with “their” Wife.
WHAT IS IT ?
Is it a man with his wife?
Is it a lesbian couple?
Or perhaps a “Threesome”, judging by the first use of the plural?
And WHY attempt to conceal the gender of the person quoted?
Or is this some Woke Disney non-binary crap?
In any event, it’s highly annoying.
