Credit: DisneyWalt Disney World Resort has confirmed a phased closure at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, a Deluxe Villa Resort hotel. This is the second refurbishment announced for Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort in 2026.
Disney World Resort Hotel Phased Closure
This month, Walt Disney World Resort’s website confirmed the start of a phased refurbishment of the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
Disney filed permits for construction on the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) lodging location in December 2025. The permits list Land-Ron Inc. as a general contractor working on the Treehouse Villas through January 7, 2027. However, Walt Disney World Resort has confirmed that the project will wrap up in mid-September 2026.
The work on each individual Treehouse Villa is expected to be done in phases, allowing Walt Disney World Resort to maintain a steady (though lower) inventory of rooms. Guests with existing reservations shouldn’t expect any changes to their stay.
Walt Disney World Resort typically restricts construction work to the daytime hours, when most guests are visiting Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs. Disney Resort hotel guests may hear limited construction noise during the day.
As part of the refurbishment project, the tennis and basketball courts at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will close on March 23 and reopen in June 2026.
Another Refurbishment at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
The news of the Treehouse Villas refurbishment comes just weeks after Walt Disney World Resort announced the phased closure of the Turf Club at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
The Turf Club Lounge will close first, shutting its doors from early April to early August 2026. The Turf Club Bar & Grill will remain open with a pop-up bar, serving a limited menu inspired by the lounge.
The Turf Club Patio will follow, closing from early to mid-August 2026. Then, after the Turf Club Patio and Lounge reopen, the Turf Club Bar & Grill will shut its doors from mid-August to mid-September 2026.
