This week, Central Florida Disney Park guests noticed something different when traveling on the Monorail after dark. Sometime in the last few days, Walt Disney World Resort appears to have installed glowing, vintage-inspired logos on all its trams. @greencheetah99 shared these photos on X (formerly known as Twitter):

It appears the WDW monorails now have glowing retro logos!

Walt Disney World Resort did not publicly acknowledge or issue a statement on the recent Monorail update.

The Walt Disney World Monorail has two loops transporting guests to and from Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. The Magic Kingdom loop makes stops at the original Central Florida Disney park, the Transportation & Ticket Center, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Resort. To travel to EPCOT, guests must transfer or park at the Transportation & Ticket Center.

The Monorail is the oldest form of transportation at the Central Florida vacation destination, but Disney has expanded its network over the last five decades. The Disney Skyliner travels to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. Various watercraft transportation travels to Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney Springs, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from select Disney Resort hotels.

Anywhere not served by watercraft, Monorail, or Disney Skyliner is accessible by bus service from the Disney Resort hotels. The bus is the only form of free transportation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Which form of Walt Disney World Resort transportation is your favorite: the Monorail, Disney Skyliner, bus, or watercraft? Inside the Magic would love to hear from you in the comments!
