I would not pay the price they are asking for those dates!!! I’m sorry but the more people that pay they will keep asking for more and more!!! I get it could be your only time doing but man if people would stop spending the amount and go back to being online for rides maybe they would bring the prices down!! maybe? My opinion?
I agree. Disney is no longer an affordable vacation. There are so many other places to see. Just imagine, a family of four could spend thousands just on lightening lane passes. Ridiculous. Dollywood is so much better and much more reasonably priced. It’s time to boycott Disney.
I will not pay for lighting lane and i have not been on a ” Disney” vacation for years. Disney has lost its sprit and i dont see it coming back anytime soon.I have shifted to universal studios florida and local parks for my theme park fun.
As history tells us Walt Disney grew up a poor boy in Minnesota. While watching his daughters on a carousel one day, he imagined a safe, clean, AFFORDABLE place where families could enjoy having fun together. Not only has Disney’s priced out the lower class but the middle class as well. Only the wealthy can afford this. Walt’s vision is officially dead.
The lowest Superbowl ticket price this year was about $4000, with most seats going for much more. And it sold out. I’m sure Disney is looking at those numbers and thinking they can raise prices so much higher and still have buyers. Get in while you can, before it’s a millionaire’s playground exclusively…
Kids never been to DL or DW. Hoping to end the generational fixation by never taking my children. Just have to fight the wife, “But they will miss out on a magical experience in childhood.” No, it was your childhood, not necessarily going to be theirs.” My kids don’t even watch Disney characters, so why would that one park be so enjoyable for them?
We had Disney year passes for a long time. We quit buying them a few years ago when it started getting where every minute had to be scheduled. I don’t want to carry a purse and phone in the park. I had a lanyard that carried my pass, credit card and ID. I had a wrist band on my weist. That’s as much planning for a day I desired. We woukd decide which park that morning, head to the park for early admission then back to the hotel for the pool in the afternoon. Now, everything has to be scheduled and checked/rechecked during your time at the park. This takes away much of our enjoyment. Plus everything is priced so high now. The customer service is not the same as it was before when Disney went out of the way to make sure your stay was the best it could be. We appreciated our time before and the ability to decide on that morning if we would take a day off, etc. We will leave Disney parks to those who don’t find the stay to be tedious and stressful. Other states and overseas vacations are much more affordable, relaxing and just as entertaining as Disney. It’s sad that today’s generation can’t experience Disney the way it was when it was truly aimed for a fun vacation for the middle class.
Ms. Betty seems to be the only sane one amongst you. The lot of you just say over and over again, the magic is gone (insert crying emoji), I’ll never renew my passes (crying emoji), everything is so expensive (crying emoji), I’m done with Disney yet I spend all my time on a Disney chat board (crying emoji)…We feel sad for you and hope one day you realize there actually is a whole world out there but unfortunately you’ll probably find something to complain about there too
It’s like united airlines seat prices versus Disney park prices. It’s best to go with the less expensive parks, then connect with travel agents at be our guest vacations for deals.

INSANE!!! Done with Disney!
Whynot
For the price per person, including airfare, hotel, etc. in addition to park entry and lightning passes, traveling abroad is/can be cheaper.

Man, all you people do is complain and complain. Go, Don’t Go, who cares. Move on with your lives (if you have them).

Hey Bets……Chill out. Smile…unless it will make your face crack…..
