Disney must bring back The Muppets because the fans want!

  2. BKC

Thank God for Mr. Josh D’Aramo coming home.

  3. Christine

Bring back A Kiss Goodnight at MK

  4. Pete

As mu h as I like the Muppets, i don’t consider them Disney classic. Or for that matter the original Walt Disney charm and enchantment.

    1. Maddog

      I totally agree!!
I was never really a big fan of muppets and never ever considered a Disney experience!!!

    2. Maddog

      I totally agree!!
I was never really a big fan of muppets and never ever considered it to be a Disney experience!!!

    3. Mary Shearer

      Agree! 👍

    4. Stephanie

Muppets, fine, but don’t go.crazy. Snow white roller coaster never felt right to me, and ENOUGH STAR WARS! Now let’s get back to: The Art of Animation, classic Characters but NOT just autographs n meeting. I mean we’ll integrated into and throughout your experience. How about The Tom Sawyer boat featuring Louise with music all around. Maybe that giant taco place could be converted to Tiannas Place for some New Orleans style sit down dining n music for the big kids (adults). Hands off Big Thunder Mountain. How about a walk in Night time feeling Lady and the Tramp night time romantic walk through? I have more, but Yes, PLEASE bring back the charm, because lastly Gardians of the Galaxy!?! What?!! If I want action trash, I’ll go to Universal

    5. Nancy

      Agree!!

  5. Cora

I really wish they would show some love to the old toons. I think it would be really neat if they had a toon town that went from black and white to color. Show where it started and still have that toon aspect and appreciation.

    1. Sharon

      What a great idea!

    2. Stephanie

      Sing it!

Bring back Rivers of America, the Liberty Belle, and TSI

    1. Jess

      YOU SUPPORT CORPORATE GREED!!!!!!!!

    2. Ann

Agreed!!! Disney had those elements/rides created, so every kid and adult kid could ride a paddlewheel boat, etc. Bring back the classic magical Disney. Disney has more than enough land to build another park for a modern looking Disney; while preserving the classic.

      1. David

I agree. In addition, I think Disney should revive a stronger corporate sponsorship program for its rides and shows, which could help with pricing and related costs. To address overcrowding, building a new major park that surpasses Epic Universe would be a great start, and it could showcase all the new ideas there.

      2. Stephanie

        Bravo!!!!!

    3. Davona

Yes! Taking away these historical, iconic attractions is a mistake. What’s next, Hall of Presidents?

      1. Ned

Probably. Any attraction that they can’t find a way to generate cash off recently purchased IP or the occasional successful Disney produced IP is in danger of being redeveloped. That’s why we’ve lost attractions like Maelstrom, Great Movie Ride, Dinosaur, Tom Sawyer Island / Rivers of America, and many more to come. Those attractions are simply fun. Being “fun” alone is now a sin at Disney. Any attraction has to earn it’s keep by selling tons of plastic crap (future micro plastic) based on the incredibly expensive IPs Disney has purchased in the last 15 years (Pixar, Lucas Film, Marvel, Fox, etc). So, yeah. The days of attractions based purely on imagination. DONE.

    4. Meemaw

      Agreed

    5. Steve

They’re all still there. No Cars is coming and eventually all Pixar rides and characters will be removed due to Disney being broken up by Washington as a monopoly and having to avoid paying billions in licensing fees to a studio that Disney will no longer own and be competing with again.

  7. PlutoDeville

The first time I have applauded Disney in a very long time, let’s hope Iger and Co take that leap off their personal thrones very soon.
This guy appears to be what’s needed. Return or balance the venue, it’s time to let the spoiled Gen X park goers down, the ones who have obviously ruled Disney with their political and selfish demands! Long live Walt!

  8. Connor

Bring back Disney Junior characters like Sofia the first, Doc Mcstuffins, and Vampirina.

    1. disney sucks

Uh, eww no little toddler, we do not need imm*ture baby characters. We need good old classics.

      1. James

Why can’t we also have characters for the toddlers

  9. Laurie

Muppets 3D was one of my family’s favorite attractions and it will be missed but if your talking old school then bring back the free dining plan and the busses from the airport and lower the price it is ridiculous to have to pay $10,000 for a family of 4 and that does not include airfare when they do his I will come back.

  10. Peg

Disney has taken so much away from their visitors and continues to raise prices so middle class families can no longer afford to take their kids on vacation to Disney. We went to the muppets show everytime we visited. They also had a small show in the square near Presidents Hall in Disney World where they were in the windows going back and forth with each other but that was cancelled also.
They no longer bus you to and from Disney on Magical Express. No longer allow you to check bags and get boarding passes a Disney hotel when leaving. Require park reservations during certain times of year and no longer allow guests 3 Fast passes a day during their stay at the resort instead now you have to buy passes if you want to get on a ride before everyone else. It’s no longer an enjoyable experience.

    1. clifford Bartz

      agree

    2. Davona

Absolutely! Disney has also taken away so much magic from Cast Members. We hope Josh will bring back ALL the perks and benefits we once had.

    3. All this is why I will take my family other places on vacation. I’d like to add, the most fun we had was doing the “Agent P” interactive missions through the app at Epcot. They got rid of that too.

  11. clifford Bartz

i hope he doesn’t bring back more “woke” stuff back, it really has been bad for the company and the nation.

    1. Lsmith

      Agree 109%

    2. Sharon

      Oh FFS!!

    3. Mary Shearer

Absolutely! We have stopped going to Disneyland since it became so woke and it used to be my favorite place in the whole world!

      1. Bert

I guess you didn’t notice how woke Disney was on all those previous visits.

    4. Frank

Just what is Woke anyway ? I guess because the Orange King told you anything that he doesn`t like is Woke you just obey ? Try thinking for yourself again and you might find you really liked what he calls Woke like you did before he told you not too .

  12. If he does become Igers replacement let’s hope he can bring back some of the elements that gave Disney thaks special feel to it, because we all know it been fading.
Disney has always been expensive but it was attainable by more middle class family’s and with that cost there were perks that helped people ” justify ” the high costs. Also, let’s hope the repeat consumer is not shunned ( not spending the same as 1st timers) but welcomed and rewarded for being a devoted fan.

  13. Victoria

Please bring back MuppetVision 3D, Splash Mountain and the Brers!!

  14. Annette Kirschbaum

I love Disney, and miss the older attractions. Things you go back to see over and over, like peter pan, it’s a small world and dumbo. I wish we could do less with our phones and having to run here and there, takes the fun out if your the planner. I will miss the steam boat for sure and I’ve the Muppets. Need more of mickey mouse and the original characters. Please keep it family friendly. I k ow there are more and more bar areas opening, but we must remain kid friendly. Thank you all for what you do. Don’t loose the Magic!

  15. RandyC

My hope for a Disney revival was invigorated this morning when I read that Josh D’Amaro was named CEO. He gets it. He knows what made Disney great. Much work lies ahead to make Disney’s new creative ventures more watchable and suitable for family entertainment. That will be a key to Disney’s future. For right now, I am hopeful. Congratulations, Josh!

  16. Maddog

It seems everything is getting expensive but Disney is too far out of reach. They show all the glamour of visiting and staying there but only the rich and famous can afford it anymore. Also, corporate greed has taken over. Years ago you had to go to Disney to get anything that was labeled Disney. Now it’s no big deal. Go to Walmart and Target for practically the same thing. All the little extras are gone just to make more money for stockholders.

  17. Djt luvsputin

I’m not sure why they would erase the Muppet Show before opening the Muppet Rollercoaster. If anything, invent a new show, add a new part.

  18. Jimbo

The magic left the property several years ago. It is sad to see everyone with their noses buried in their phones. Sad to see the older rides go away. Sad to see the lack of imagineering with the new offerings. Hopefully things will get better soon.

    1. Sharon

I feel your pain. And Disney has been encouraging use of the phones, making you access everything on the app. It’s discouraging and we avoid it as much as possible… and we’re Disneyland CA people, can’t imagine the frustration with what’s happening at WDW!

      1. Josh

You know we are in the 21st century right?

        1. Stephanie

          Only too well

        2. Frank

Some times thinking you`ve out grown something is easier than understand you haven`t .

        3. Steve

You know we are not? It’s the 20th century and always will be. When I take over Disney it will be great again and be frozen in time asking “What would Walt do?” again. I will undo all traces of Iger the Terrible. It will be like he was never there.

  19. Sharon

The thing that angered my family was taking Bugs Land out of DCA and replacing it with Marvel (not Disney). Bugs Land was a perfect area for the very young and young at heart…. Walt himself would have loved it. We haven’t set foot in DCA since they did that, we stick to the original Disneyland.

  20. disney sucks

Dear Josh, you can fix the company if you tried. Here’s what you need to do:

    1. Don’t do away with Splash Mountain.
    2. Don’t do away with Song of the South.
    3. Do away with all things woke. No more pride crap, no more corrupting our childrens minds.
    4. Stop putting black people in everything, mainly ones that are supposed to be set back during the 20th century and older and STOP raceswapping.
    5. Do away with feminism/girlboss characters, weak men and genderswapping.
    6. Lower prices so that folks from the middle and even lower class could actually visit.
    7. Do away with high tech rides and AI promotion. Put your money into hiring more security for out of control Disney adults and customer safety.
    8. Fire the so-called imagineers and hire people that actually know how to write original stories.
    9. Freaking stop with the endless supply of cash grab remakes and sequels.
    10. Fire Jimmy Kimmel.
    11. Make your actors and actresses keep their blasphemous mouths shut about their immoral, political views.

    1. Hc labrock

You must be a happy man. Bet you have no friends

      1. disney sucks

Yes I’m happy, what’s your excuse peabrain?

        1. Stan

Happy people don’t getting into pissing matches on a comment thread, 350lb moomoo wearing 55 year old virgins do…bet I’m pretty close about you haha

          1. disney sucks

Lol and five year oldd like you love getting into hissies when people speak the truth! 🤣

    2. dan

Tell us all you are nuts without telling us you are nuts haha

      1. disney sucks

Ok Dan I’ll tell you all that you are nuts, LOL!!!

    3. Istvan

      Amen!

    4. Bert

      Off his meds….

      1. Rodger

Your mom’s been on meds ever since she realized she should’ve had an abortion when she was pregnant with you, Bert.

        1. disney sucks

          You are angry because of small p e n i s no?

    5. Frank

Please explain Woke . And don`t try to deflect with ” All that Liberal stuff ” excuse because Liberal means being able to think for yourself .

  21. Robert

I hope he also remembers pricing, for a family size like ours, it is impossible to stay at and enjoy the parks for the needed time spent to thoroughly enjoy what all the parks have to offer. Not to mention the airline to get there. The parks when opened, were based on family fun and family entertainment. Now it seemingly is based on money. I remember the times my parents brought us to Disney and the excitement and wonder of it all. I wish I could provide my family the same experience and enjoyment it brought me so many years ago.

  22. RB

If you don’t think the Muppets are Disney then they should get rid of Star Wars and Marvel too!

  23. The Empire Strikes Back

Please bring back an expanded and updated version of The Great Movie Ride! Stop censoring the old rides for the sake of appeasing the woke and if you’re serious about dealing with the crowds then by all means add a 5th gate!

  24. Please bring back the “magic” of Disney that so many of us miss so much! And while you’re at it, bring back the Osborne Spectacle of Lights and the Magical Express. Remember how and why Walt created this amazing destination in the first place. Bring back the Disney we all grew up with and loved so much-

    1. Stephanie

1.Night time EPCOT Parade before the fireworks.
      2. Set an occupancy limit instead of some much high teaching the lines.
      3. How about lines for couples.

    2. Sammie

I really do miss the Osborne Spectacle of Lights. They should have found a place to put it. It always drew a large crowd to the park.

  25. Bob K.

I hope Josh remember what make Disney what they are today, it ALL started with two park’s Disneyland and Disney World what made Disney today. I hope they bring back some of the Historical Attractions that what made Disney today and also Disney World has over 43 sq miles of land to used and ad more attractions then tear them down.

  26. Simba

You know what “classic” should be brought back? The Annual Passes benefits we all had before COVID hit. Increasing prices and removing benefits has gotten truly evil. Those benefits were the “magic” to me, and that magic continues to die year after year.

  27. Abby

I know that the Disney Resorts in California and Florida are both talking about adding another park, I think that both of those parks should be filled with old and nostalgic attractions that were all of a sudden taken away from their original locations. Also bring back the lower cost of admission, there are people like me who can’t afford going to the parks anymore 🏰

  28. LadyDell

Bring The Mad Tea Party back to California Adventure. It was the best fun I’ve ever had as an adult in California Adventure!!!!

  29. Anonymous

I don’t trust or believe a word that fraud is saying. He is known to mix truths with lies, just like Iger. Both are liars.

  30. Terry

I don’t know why Disney thinks Star Wars and the Muppets are classic when they aren’t Disney at all. It’s capitalizing off someone else’s ideas and creations. Just because you think you have more money than God, doesn’t mean you can buy it and slap a Disney logo on it And call it Disney. It’s certainly not Disney nostalgia or charm. It’s ridiculous really.

  31. Bob iger is a liar and destroys everything.
