Walt Disney World Resort is wrapping up work on a replacement in the Toy Story Land area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Here’s the latest update on the construction and what Central Florida Disney Park guests might see.
Toy Story Mania! Construction

Since mid-December 2025, crews have been refreshing the entrance to Toy Story Mania! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The arch-shaped sign was installed when Walt Disney World Resort re-routed the attraction queue for the 2018 debut of Toy Story Land. Toy Story Mania!, which opened in 2008, was originally part of Pixar Place.

As of Thursday, January 22, the checkerboard-like background behind the 3-D “Toy Story Mania!” sign has been removed. According to WDWNT, the entire back layer of the sign (including the circus-tent details and yellow flag) has been coated with a blank white paint or another substance, potentially a primer for a future repainting.

Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t shared any details about the scope of this project or a timeline for its completion. Despite the ongoing construction work, the Toy Story Mania! attraction remains open and is operating normally.
Other Work in Toy Story Land
Disney’s Hollywood Studios surprised guests in the New Year by adding a brand-new snack kiosk to Toy Story Land. Mystery construction work began near the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge last year, and permits suggested that Disney was planning to build a new Quick-Service dining location in the area. However, Walt Disney World Resort did not publicly confirm the rumors until the kiosk opened this month.

The popcorn box-shaped kiosk, known simply as Popcorn and Snacks, serves standard Walt Disney World Resort fare as well as exclusive Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls. There are also new benches between Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, giving Disney Park guests a perfect place to enjoy their afternoon treat.
