Hard Rock in Vegas should’ve learn from this before they touched the Mirage

The reason why Tianas Bayou Adventure is the most troubling retheme is they rushed the ride and it feels empty and barebones. There’s no memorable princess and the frog characters, dancing spoonbill birds for dig a little deeper song, no lady butterflies dancing to when we’re human which is missing from the ride, Reggie, Darnell, 2 fingers 3 men in the boat, Harvey and Henry fenner bros, Buford, Stella the dog, a showboat, the spooky shadow spirits, masks, dolls, Lawrence and Dr facilier singing friends on the other side, a little bluebird from the little golden book is absent from the ride.

Another fact about this ride is it takes place in February 1927 during the Los Angeles California flood and 2 months before the April 1927 Mississippi river flood disaster. And the fact that this takes place during the alcohol prohibition mobster wars of Al Capone and Jim Crow laws oppressing African Americans, native Americans especially women at that time.

Personally I’m pretty much done with the barebones Tianas Bayou Adventure ride since it was very boring.

Disney imagineers needs to close Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and revise it to include more animatronic Bayou critters like birds and butterflies, revise the confusing storyline so it makes sense for the ride. Or best yet retheme it to the princess and the frog splash levee retelling with Dr facilier and spooky spirits in the ride. Then I’ll like it and reride it like former splash mountain. Otherwise it’s just another jungle cruise knockoff ride I don’t care about.
