Shocking Guest Incidents at Universal Orlando Resort Over the Years

Reported incidents over the years have ranged from inappropriate physical contact with a bartender at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville to heated altercations during peak crowd periods. Each case has reignited conversations about crowd management, alcohol policies, and guest conduct.

One widely shared episode unfolded during Halloween Horror Nights, where a fight reportedly broke out in the queue for The Terrifier house. Videos circulated online showing security and team members stepping in as tensions escalated amid heavy crowds.

The incident added to ongoing concerns about guest behavior during peak event nights, when long waits and alcohol consumption can heighten already volatile situations.

Another incident occurred inside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD during annual passholder previews for Epic Universe. TikTok user giseldontcare (@GISEL) documented a confrontation in the Single Rider line for Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge.

According to her account, a man climbed under barriers to cut into the Single Rider queue after previously waiting in standby. When he realized the standby line was moving faster, he began yelling at a Universal team member, drawing attention from nearby guests.

Another case, captured in May 2024 and later uploaded to YouTube by Cop Action on Cam, involved a visibly intoxicated school chaperone at Islands of Adventure. An officer described the woman as being “very touchy.”

Video shows her attempting to book an Uber from Orlando to Miami before becoming emotional upon learning she could not take her son with her. School officials informed her that her child would remain with the group. The woman argued with officers, complained about missing rides, and refused to leave despite being warned she would be arrested. The chaperone was trespassed from the property for one year.

Now, there has been yet another incident at Universal Orlando Resort.

Recent Incident Caught on Camera at Volcano Bay

During an Orlando Police Department investigation at Universal’s Volcano Bay, a woman defecated while officers were on scene to deal with reports of an assault.

In the bodycam footage shared by Sunbelt Safety (via Orlando Theme Park Zone), the woman can be heard saying “I just s**t a turd out” while wearing a swimsuit in a corridor, with an officer telling her that she can “wipe [her] butt later.”

The incident occurred on March 27, 2025, when officers were dispatched following reports of a battery at the water park, which is home to slides such as Krakatau Aqua Coaster, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, Ika Moana, Honu, and Maku.

The woman in question was accompanied by a male guest and accused of throwing rocks at someone, but insisted that she hadn’t done anything wrong.

She adds that she cannot sit down because she has “a turd that’s sitting in [her] underwear” and goes on to explain that she’s a student from Michigan. Later, she bends over to show officers in what she claims is an effort to prove that “I really wanted to go and I was denied to go to the restroom.”

The woman was charged with aggravated battery and held at the Orange County Jail for four months, with bond set at $2,000. She was later released after pleading not guilty, with the case ultimately dropped.

A judge cited the matter as not suitable for prosecution.

Inside the Magic covered the initial arrest in March. Orlando Police Department visited the scene after park employee Andrew Carson heard a sudden shout of “hey!” before being struck by an airborne object.

The impact left Carson with injuries, though the extent of those injuries remains undisclosed.
