Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, local law enforcement responded to a 911 call about “threats/assault” at Disney Springs. X (formerly known as Twitter) user @WDWActiveCrime, who monitors and posts about emergency incidents at Walt Disney World Resort, shared the scanner report:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 12/14/25 9:07 PM

It’s unclear exactly what occurred to warrant this law enforcement response. The 911 call was routed to a central part of Disney Springs but, emergency responses at Walt Disney World Resort are typically directed to centralized addresses rather than the exact location of the incident.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department often releases police reports about criminal activity at Walt Disney World Resort; however, they have yet to do so in this case. It’s unclear if any arrests were made or whether anyone was trespassed from Central Florida Disney property.

Despite the incident at Disney Springs on Sunday evening, it’s completely safe to visit Walt Disney World Resort at this time. The shopping and dining district, as well as all four Disney theme parks, are continuing to operate normally.

Should guests encounter law enforcement during their visit to a Disney Park, they should follow all posted or verbal instructions. Walt Disney World Resort security does its best to minimize disruptions for other guests during emergency response incidents.
