I swear I have read that Disney doesn’t get much $$ from local passholders. Disney wants to encourage people to join DVC. They give DVC folks exclusive lounges, etc.
Universal doesn’t have the time share gig so they are not worried about pushing that.
It’s all business.
Had annual passes at Dworld for 10 plus years….expensive for us cuz we live out of state. But we accepted that fact. Dropped the passes a year ago…just go to be too much, and didn’t get that much back any longer….may consider getting them again, if they do what Universal has done. Added to the fact the D. has gone so P.C.
