Most, if not all, of Disney’s theme parks underwent significant changes in 2025. From updates, overhauls, remodels, and refurbishments, park guests have seen a lot change inside places like Disneyland Paris, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The same is true for Disney’s international locations, too, with Disneyland Paris set to receive its most important renovation yet. The European resort is undergoing numerous enhancements to its operations, layout, and, most importantly, its list of attractions.
Disneyland Park is mostly staying the same, but it’s the resort’s other park, Walt Disney Studios, that will soon look wildly different.
Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a total makeover, one that will result in the park receiving a new name. Beginning next year, Walt Disney Studios will be known as Disney Adventure World.
Over the last several months, guests have watched as signs and graphics have been removed in preparation for this rebrand. Iconic locations have closed to make way for new and improved ones, as have other experiences.
Disney Adventure World will still feature the same rides as Walt Disney Studios, though there are at least two new attractions coming soon.
These attractions have been added to the official Disneyland Paris website. One of these attractions is Frozen Ever After, which will be found in the park’s upcoming World of Frozen land.
The other ride is Raiponce Tangled Spin, a family attraction inspired by Tangled (2015)
Both attractions will open in 2026.

The name and layout aren’t the only things changing at Disney Adventure World. Work recently began on the park’s new ride inspired by The Lion King. Announced last year during Disney’s D23 event, this new log flume attraction is a very big deal, not just for Walt Disney Studios but for Disneyland Paris as a whole.
This marks the first log flume experience offered at Disneyland Paris and is also the first Disney ride to be based solely on The Lion King (1994).
The new ride will resemble and feature elements similar to Disney’s former Splash Mountain attraction, which transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in 2024. Guests will pile into logs and traverse the Pridelands as they explore iconic scenes from Disney’s classic animated film.
This new ride is set to be much larger than all of Disney’s previous water-based adventures.
