From the arrival of Piston Peak National Park in Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort to the doubling of Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure Park, the U.S. theme parks are bringing new experiences to guests over the next decade.

Back in 2024, the Bluey franchise was confirmed to be arriving across the Disney Experiences brand. “Bluey has become a household name for families around the world, and we are thrilled to bring her story to life in new ways,” Josh D’Amaro (Chairman, Disney Experiences) said. “We can’t wait to watch our youngest guests and their families make memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises.”

Now, a year later, details have been confirmed of Bluey and the rest of the Heelers’ arrival at the Disney parks.

Disney World is currently experiencing a widespread overhaul across Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. At the latter, work is underway to transform the DinoLand U.S.A. area into the Tropical Americas, complete with Encanto and Indiana Jones signature attractions.

The major retheme is currently underway, with work being spotted from above. Joining the changes at Animal Kingdom will be a new Bluey attraction debuting next summer.

“Beginning in summer 2026 at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll be able to take a fun excursion to Conservation Station in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo!” Disney Parks Blog wrote. “Grab the whole family and snap some pictures alongside your Blue Heeler pals to remember this one-of-a-kind adventure.”

Bluey at Disneyland Resort

“Beginning March 22, 2026, and continuing through the year, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland park will celebrate the heart and humor of the critically acclaimed Disney+ animated series, Bluey,” Disney Parks Blog wrote in its 2026 Disneyland Resort calendar.

Fantasyland Theatre is about to get a major Heeler-sized makeover as Disneyland transforms the venue into the vibrant schoolyard straight out of Bluey. This all-new, family-friendly experience invites guests to step directly into Bluey’s world for what’s being billed as her absolute best day ever.

Throughout the day, Bluey and her little sister Bingo will take the stage in person, teaming up with a lively cast of comedic performers and musicians. Together, they’ll recreate the music, moments, and imaginative games fans know by heart from the hit animated series, encouraging kids and grown-ups alike to jump right into the action.

Guests can expect a mix of energetic musical numbers that flow seamlessly into iconic Bluey games—yes, “Keepy Uppy” is definitely on the list—along with hands-on activities scattered throughout a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. It’s an open invitation to play, explore, and make memories, all wrapped up in the unmistakable charm of Heeler family adventures.

You can even wander through a fair-themed version of Bluey’s school, complete with appearances from fan-favorite characters like the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse. And when hunger strikes, Troubadour Tavern will serve select themed treats inspired by the series, giving guests one more way to stay immersed in Bluey’s playful world.

Bluey Takeover

Bluey has grown from an Australian preschool series into one of the biggest global hits in family entertainment. Created by Ludo Studio, the show follows Bluey, a lively Blue Heeler pup, her sister Bingo, and their parents Bandit and Chilli. Each seven-minute episode leans into imaginative play, gentle humor, and relatable family moments—an approach that’s connected with young viewers and, unexpectedly, a massive adult audience.

Since premiering in 2018, Bluey has become a dominant force in streaming. In 2024, the series racked up more than 55 billion minutes watched, making it the most-streamed show of the year across all ages. In Australia, it repeatedly set viewing records on ABC iview, accumulating hundreds of millions of plays. At the same time, in the U.S., it has surpassed long-standing kids’ franchises to become the country’s top children’s show.

A major part of Bluey’s appeal comes from its authenticity. The series reflects everyday Australian family life—play-based parenting, heartfelt lessons, and emotional stories that land with far more depth than the average preschool cartoon. That relatability has helped the show secure a dedicated fanbase, inspire global merchandising, and expand into live shows and immersive experiences.

With wide international distribution through Disney+ and BBC Studios, plus translation into dozens of languages, Bluey has evolved into a cultural ambassador for modern Australian storytelling. Even years into its run, it remains one of the most impactful—and universally beloved—animated series on the planet.
