According to firsthand accounts, two Walt Disney World Resort buses collided with each other on Friday morning. The incident occurred somewhere on Buena Vista Drive.

A few photos of the incident were shared on Reddit.

“Biggest damage was the rear bus crashing into another bus,” said the user. “The front one was bound for Art of Animation, not sure about the other.”

Another said that the rear bus had lots of damage to its front end.

It’s unclear what caused the collision or if any other vehicles were involved. The incident will likely cause traffic delays for those looking to make an early appearance at the theme parks.

The holidays are already a hectic time for Walt Disney World, with thousands of guests entering teach of the four parks every day. Currently, Disney World has two holiday parties on offer: Jollywood Nights and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Walt Disney World Resort buses take guests to and from Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks, as well as all official Disney World hotels. Guests can catch a bus going to Disney Springs and the resort’s water parks as well.

Buses are by far the most popular way to get around the resort, but many guests prefer to use alternative transportation methods, namely the Disney Skyliner.

Opened in 2019, the Disney Skyliner revolutionized the way guests interact with the resort. While the sky bucket track does not connect to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, the Skyliner is by far the fastest and easiest way to get to and from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

The Skyliner also connects to several Walt Disney World hotels like the Riviera, Caribbean Beach, and Pop Century.

The Monorail is another popular, though more limited option. Despite its level of infamy among theme park goers, the Monorail only makes a few stops around Walt Disney World.

The futuristic train car system travels to and from EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, as well as three hotels, the Polynesian, the Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary.

Guests are also free to drive their own personal vehicles to the parks, with each offering its own parking area.
