I left a sterling silver designer brand of Mickey earrings (that I purchased in 2012 at the Contemporary) in my room in 2018 at Saratoga Springs. I went to the front desk and reported them as having been left in my room. They came back and said they could not find them and I went on the hunt to lost and found as well. I decided they had certainly been taken and just checked eBay every so often and about 6 months later found them on eBay. The EXACT SAME pair! They had a mark on the back of one that was distinguishable, so I knew they were mine. Paid the seller, let them know they had been stolen (the seller of course tried to say they hadn’t) however in the end I had my earrings back! Ha!

I never take anything of value to the resorts when I’m staying there. If I do, I hide them. There is a safe in all rooms free to use. As far as the guests stealing stuff, it’s hard to believe that these types of people can even afford to go to the parks. Shameful.

Oh bless your heart, how do you think wealthy people stay wealthy? I worked in customer service industry for over 20 years and can tell you it’s the wealthier customers that are the stingiest so don’t assume the people stealing are doing it are doing it because they couldn’t afford it, because you’re right, they could afford a bougie disney vacation in the first place.

But yes…. why are these fools taking their expensive bougie arse purse and earrings and leaving them laying around the hotel room to get stolen…. Have some sense.
