Went on the 27th, couldn’t ride because im pregnant so my mom went on. Was stuck for just over 2 hours, had to be evacuated. I felt awful for her but I was also sitting outside in the heat for 2 hours! They gave her water and fast passes. But then it dumped for about 4 hours. She was able to do 2 rides the whole day, all i did was get drenched. What a dud of a day and wasted money.

Well when we rode it in Sept. it broke down with us on it. We were sitting there in the dark with our heads way down. The blood was rushing to our heads. We were there for like 15 minutes. Then they turned the lights on and we were there for another 10. Then they brought us out in the light so we could see the whole ride. Then it was closed for a bit. Then we went back to ride it once it reopened. Very cool ride. The Harry Potter ride was closed down most of the day until around 8 something, then everyone ran for the ride and it filled up fast. We almost got on it but had to leave because we had dinner reservations. So, never got to ride it. Heard it is a cool ride. Maybe next time. Hopefully soon we will be able to add an Epic Universe pass to our premier passes. Only time will tell on that one.

I went to Universal when it first opened. They had a total of 4, yes that’s right, 4 main attractions. I became aware of Universal’s attempt to open the park with non working main event rides when I was turned around and ushered off two of them in a row. I went to customer service to get my money back and a kind young man from customer service rode all 4 via the exit with us. I asked him if he was going to get in trouble he said he had just quit and wasn’t worried about it. I haven’t been back since. It looks like even now decades later Universal is up to their same irresponsible behavior? Had it not been for that young man we would have wasted our money and a vacation day as well. I never forgot about how kind he was to make us feel just a little of the Universal “magic”.

Monsters Unchained doesn’t generally get a long wait because it has a high capacity. It can go down for operational reasons, but it doesn’t generally have a long line. Battle at the Ministry definitely gets long lines as do Mine Cart Madness & Mario Kart.
