This is what fans have to say about waiting in line at Disney World.

Whether you are a foodie or a thrill-seeker, there’s a lot of magic to be had at Walt Disney World. With four theme parks, two water parks, dozens of hotels, mini-golf courses, and an outdoor shopping center, guests can easily make a week (or two) with a trip to Disney World.
However, there is one major downside of a Disney vacation: waiting in line. Given just how popular Magic Kingdom and the rest of the resort are, it’s no surprise that guests will be waiting in line a lot during their trip. Thankfully, there are ways to cut back on time spent standing in line, but travelers had better come prepared to wait, especially for more iconic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
This is part of the reason Disney goes out of its way to make sure the ride’s queues are just as immersive, detailed, and fun to be in as the rides themselves. Attractions like Expedition Everest and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are often praised for their queues, as are others like Kali River Rapids and Avatar Flight of Passage.
However, some attractions aren’t so lucky, with fans dreading getting stuck in them. Recently, a discussion broke out on Reddit, with fans talking about their least favorite lines to wait in.

“What is the worst physical queue in Walt Disney World,” asks the user. “I’ll go first. Na’vi River Journey, that spiral is maddening.” Na’vi River Journey certainly doesn’t have a very impressive or fun queue. Detailed sure, but we would be lying if we said we didn’t dread standing in line for this ride longer than 30 minutes.
“Jungle Cruise triggers my claustrophobia,” said one user. Another complained about Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT.
By far the most common response to the question was Slinky Dog Dash. This family roller coster is found at Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and often ranks as one of the most crowded rides in all of Walt Disney World.
“Slinky dog dash: that one is rough,” said one user. “Barely any cover, no a/c, compounded by its long wait time. And there’s not a lot to distract you from it because the queue is pretty unremarkable.”
“Slinky because of no shade,” said someone else.
Waiting in line can definitely bring your day to a halt, though as we said, there are ways to cut back on time spent standing in queues. First, guests have the ability to purchase Lightning Lane services. These work like FastPasses, giving users a return time for select rides and attractions. Guests return at their designated time and can bypass the regular standby queue.
A big way to cut back on time spent waiting is doing certain rides at certain times. Guests will want to either knock out heavy-hitters like Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Avatar Flight of Passage early in the morning or late at night right before the parks close.
Other attractions, like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Tower of Terror can be enjoyed with little wait during nighttime shows like Happily Ever After and Fantasmic.
